THE SIRONA FOUNDATION EXISTS TO SUPPORT THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES. ITS PRIMARY FOCUS IS TO SUPPORT HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE PROVIDERS IN OFFERING A BETTER EXPERIENCE FOR SERVICE USERS AND IMPROVE WELLBEING. THIS MAY INCLUDE COMMUNITY PROJECTS; VITAL EQUIPMENT AND OR STAFF DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES OUTSIDE THE LIMIT OF NORMAL FUNDING SOURCES.

To further or benefit the residents of BS26 post code area by advancement of education and the provision of facilities for recreation and social welfare. To support the prevention or relief of poverty by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need. To provide transport facilities for the poor, elderly, disabled and people with young children. To establish and run a community hub.

The association runs the Worle Community Centre located in the centre of Worle. The centre is available for hire by Community and commercial groups.

Fundraising

Marlens looks after Clevedon Marine Lake on the North Somerset coast. It engages the community in using and caring for the lake, maintaining public access and improving the amenities.

The Max Carey Woodturrning Trust's object is to advance the education of the public in the subject of woodturning. It achieves this by providing fully equipped workshop facilities, structured courses and tuition.

Streamcross Community Church in Claverham takes an active role in the community, but also participates in national and international Christian and social affairs with a particular emphasis on supporting widows and orphans.

Scouting training and resources for young people aged between 6 and 14.

The SWGP provides a Ministry Training Course based at St Bart's Church, Bath. This one or two year course aims to equip those who want to be able to teach the Bible and serve in ministry more effectively. The SWGP also co-ordinates a number of other events throughout the year, including the Bristol Men's Convention, Bible teaching and training days and youth-oriented events.

THE FUND DISTRIBUTES GRANTS TO LOCAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS SEEKING TO REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS OR TACKLE FUEL POVERTY IN THE DEFINED AREAS. APPLICATIONS FROM PROJECTS IN THE VICINITY OF BATH & WEST COMMUNITY ENERGY (BWCE) PROJECTS ARE PARTICULARLY WELCOME. BWCE DONATES ITS SURPLUS PROFITS TO THE FUND, GENERATED FROM THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS COMMUNITY OWNED RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.

We raise money for the" Wings Appeal "which helps the RAF family ,Veterans and their dependants.Our facilities allow veterans to meet is a safe place and meet up with other veterans.

The Playhouse provides a venue and facilities incorporating a 99 seat auditorium for theatre, film and dance. In addition to audience performances, it offers tuition, training and rehearsal space for both adults and children.
