Life Cycle helps people take up cycling as a way of bringing about social and environmental change. We run a range of practical projects and services that overcome the barriers to cycling. We also pioneer new ways of raising awareness of the many benefits cycling brings: to individuals, to communities and to the planet.

Advice Services

Our aim is to enhance the lives of physically disabled adults and those with cognitive and sensory impairment, to support them to live life to the full. We provide social activities to connect people, build friendships, reducing loneliness and isolation. We encourage people to develop new skills and achieve independence. We develop opportunities for people to improve their health and wellbeing.

The Society offers a comprehensive adoption service that includes recruiting, assessing and preparing adoptive families for some of the most vulnerable children in the UK, supporting child and family throughout the adoption process and beyond; working with birth parents who may be considering adoption for their child and providing counselling services to adopted people and their relatives.

Provision of high quality properties for use by residential, supported living and day care services for people with learning difficulties.

Design West inspire the public, politicians & professionals to design better, healthier places to live work & relax. Placemaking brings people together across sector & society to co-design & vision great places. We convene independent Design & Policy Review services. Our Public Programmes inform & involve people in our built environment. We develop diverse talent through Education & Skills work.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation, education and other leisure time activities for children, being facilities of which such children have need by reason of their age or social or economic circumstances and which will improve conditions of life for such children by promoting their educational, physical or mental well-being. To promote waste materials as play-things.

We are a user-Led organisation. Our mission is "To enable and empower disabled people and carers to have independence, choice and control in their lives". We work through consultation, representation and service provision to fulfil our mission.

The objects of the charity promote the well-being of older people within the area of the administrative county of Somerset and the unitary authority area of North Somerset.The charity has the general aim of contributing to the quality of life of older people within its area of benefit, and this has been embodied within its mission statement.

Young Bristol is a youth driven charity that works to offer a choice of opportunities and experiences for all young people. By working in partnership with a range of community-based youth clubs, and directly with young people through our programme of activities, we respond creatively to their needs and realise their capabilities.

To provide and maintain transport facilities in the area of Weston Super Mare, for the benefit of any persons who have need of such facilities due to poverty, disability, age, or those living in isolated areas, where there is no adequate public transport facility.

To promote equality and diversity for the public benefit and in particular the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation or gender identity. Curating or attending events in an official capacity including speaking, lobbying, raising awareness and challenging hearts and minds. To deliver the annual Bristol Pride festival and programme of LGBT events and activities.

WE ARE HERE TO FACILITATE THE PLAYING AND IMPROVEMENT OF RECREATIONAL CRICKET IN SOMERSET AS WELL AS POSITIVELY IMPACTING OUR COMMUNITIES THROUGH CRICKET.

Springboard's aim is to support children with special educational needs and disabilities from birth to 5 years and their families in the North Somerset area. Our services take place at centres in Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare, and in the South Weston area. Springboard also provides family support.

The Brigstowe Project offers free confidential and independent advice and support for people affected by HIV and other long term health conditions.

Alive is dedicated to improving the quality of life of older people and their carers. We work to prioritise wellbeing into later life by engaging older people creatively through meaningful activity, training and supporting carers to enrich the lives of older people, reducing social isolation by connecting them to their local communities and speaking up for the rights of older people

A VCS organisation, we promote communication, consultation, networking and partnership working with the voluntary and community sector.We empower adults and young people to voice issues about local social care services.We provide information and advice about voluntary and statutory health and wellbeing services.We are hosts for local involvement networks in West of England

The Eddystone Trust provides information and support for anyone concerned about HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and sexual health.
