BWV is a powerful voice for women aiming to make women?s equality in Bristol a reality. We make sure that when key decisions are taken, their voices have been listened to and their concerns acted upon. We bring together women to share ideas, exchange experiences, support campaigns and celebrate success so that we can make Bristol a showcase for women?s involvement, empowerment and equality.

THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSES OF THE CHURCH ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE BAPTIST DENOMINATION. THE CHURCH MAY ALSO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND CARRY OUT OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND/OR OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD.

Theatre arts - the furtherence of performing arts in the locality and the education and entertainment of the general public

-Drama Workshops: playing drama games and devising original work based on people's own experiences and interests, regularly performing to the public.-Creative Training: tailor-made for professionals in the public, private and voluntary sector, using theatre to challenge perceptions and practices.-Rhythm of the Night: monthly inclusive ?nightclubs? for PWLD.

We recruit train and support home visiting volunteers to support vulnerable families with at least one child under 5yrs in North Somerset

General Charitable Purposes including giving grants to young or elderly people, people with disabilities and the general public. Also making grants to other organisations and taking part in other charitable activities.

Chew Valley Performing Arts aim is to develop a hub for the performing arts in the Chew Valley. Providing accessible, sustainable and authentic performing arts for all. Through its Valley Arts project it promotes the performing arts in all its forms, for the benefit of the people and communities of the Valley.

Provides support, activities, events and courses for deaf children and their families

Clevedon YMCA is a small part of the International YMCA federation, an independent charity in Clevedon since 1875. Our mission is to be here for local residents, especially young people, to provide facilities for local people to use and to help those in the most need.

Provision of food , goods , resources and associated support to people in crisis.

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of a sacred place for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Soundwell's mission statement is: "To enhance the mental health of people experiencing emotional and mental distress by promoting and providing an inclusive, community-based service of music therapy which includes outreach, short and long term groups and individual work"Music therapy is the use of musical instruments and the sounds they make to promote change and recovery.

The charity achieves its objectives of advancing the education of school children in the subjects of farming, food production, biodiversity, the rural economy and the study of the environment and ecology, by undertaking a prograqmme of visists to schools by farmers and reciprocal visits by school children to working farms.

Prime purpose of Society is the relief of financial hardship, sickness and ill health amongst elderly people in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire and also the advancement of health, the relief of poverty and the advancement of education in this area

provision of counselling and psychotherapy to anyone who suffers traumatically from torture, oppression and war. We also hope to educate the public about the impact/effect on mental health when people are exposed to political violence.

Church of England - Christian religious activities

We arrange monthly lectures between September and April, with walks and field trips in the summer months. Members receive an annual journal and regular newsletters.

We are an Ecumenical church partnership of 4 denominations (Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and URC) operating out of our purpose-built premises in Locking Castle Weston-super-Mare. The church is open to all and offers Christian worship, bible study groups and social activities for all ages. We aim to follow the way of Jesus, serving the community - particularly Weston's new estates.

To advance the education of the public in the arts of music, drama and dance

Counselling and support for children, families, couples and individuals in the community. Workshops on a range of mental health and drug/alcohol issues for young people in secondary schools and colleges in the local area.
