During 2007 Christ Church Community Centre was restored. refurbished and re-opened to provide a community centre for the inhabitants of Darley and the surrounding area. The centre continues to be available for hire for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

VILLAGE HALL IS USED PRIMARILY TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF THE VILLAGE AND ITS SURROUNDING NEIGHBOURHOOD. TO FINANCE THE RUNNING OF THE VILLAGE HALL VARIOUS FUND RAISING EVENTS ARE HELD - SUCH AS OLD TIME DANCES, TALKS, LECTURES AND DISPLAYS. WE ALSO HIRE OUT THE HALL FOR VARIOUS LOCAL FUNCTIONS - CHILDRENS PARTIES, SCHOOL PLAYS, WEDDINGS, CHRISTENINGS AND VARIOUS OTHER EVENTS.

Sponsored Walk, Raffles and other fund raising activities to raise extra funds for resources to enhance our pupils education.

To promote, advance and improve for the benefit of the public, agricultural, horticultural, forestry and rural crafts and skills in all their branches by the improvement of livestock and the demonstration of livestock, machinery, crafts, products, methods and processes connected with agriculture and agricultural education.

Fundraising activities such as CHRISTMAS FAIR / SUMMER FAIR / BINGO / cake stalls, etc to provide additional funding that supports the children's learning at school

Scarborough Pride is based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and provides information and activities for LGBTQ persons and their allies and educational and diversity information to all the public in the Borough of Scarborough

To run and maintain the Thornton Steward Institute and to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the civil parish of Thornton Steward in the North Riding of the County of York and the immediate neighbourhood (the "area of benefit") without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, race or political, religious or other options.

The CIO is responsible for running, maintaining, improving and developing Cracoe Village Hall, near Skipton in North Yorkshire for the benefit primarily of the inhabitants of Rylstone, Hetton-cum-Bordley, Cracoe, Flasby and Winterburn (all of which are small villages lying to the north of Skipton). The principal object is to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants and their invitees.

The raising of monies for charitable purposes and distribution to local people, organisations; and international charities through rotary international. Being of service to the local community which we serve.

We are a School in the Education Sector and the charity's activities raises funds to enrich the children's learning experience

From net income thus: 1/3rd for the general benefits of the inhabitants of Selby TOWN (only) for the relief of the aged, poor, those in distress, the sick, improvements of life in recreation and leisure, also for provision and support of educational facilities. 1/3rd to the Almshouse and Poors Charity, 1/3rd to the Feoffee Estate Church Charity

The Charity puts on an annual series of concerts programming the music of 20th and 21st Century composers, especially living composers, with related education workshops.

To introduce new participants, both young and old, from every section of the local community, to the sport of crown green bowling. This is to be done in a way that is supportive, inclusive, encouraging and most of all, FUN.

Church fund raising events: Social gatherings of locals and of people outside of the Malhamdale area. ie: Concerts, Musical evenings, Keep Fit ClassesEvents to raise funds for the upkeep of the Parish hall ie: Bridge Drives, Table Top Sales, Fashion Shows, Auction of Donated Goods, film nights and indoor boules.

Based in a very rural area, Ryedale and the wider area of North Yorkshire, Ryedale and District Mencap provides activities, outings, social occasions, affordable holidays, friendship, support and community spirit, to adults with learning disabilities. We are a safe, welcoming, wholly inclusive group.
