We are a charity supporting people living on the Yorkshire Coast who are visually and/or hearing impaired.We have events where members can meet fellow members, make new friends and enjoy a range of activities.We also educate the public about visual and hearing impairment.Please visit our website and social media to find out more about who we are and what we do.

To relieve the suffering of stray and abandoned animals by providing a secure and safe environment until a new loving home can be found.

To promote healthy recreation in the community, in particular providing the facilities and training for the playing of wheelchair sports.

The Charity provides accommodation in the Wenlock Almshouses

The objects of the charity are to educate the public in the dramatic arts and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in these arts.

Clean Planet are a group of skilled professional divers that aim to survey and remove Ghost Gear from the sea around the North East Coast of England, In the winter months we have a group of volunteers that survey and remove Ghost Gear that washes ashore on our coastline.Once removed the gear will be stripped down and sent away for recycle instead of it going into landfill

The CIO was formed to take over the work of Nidderdale Museum Society (regd charity 532339) with effect from 1st April 2022. Its object is to advance the education of the public by maintaining a museum to preserve and share the heritage of the Nidderdale area by collecting, conserving and exhibiting items of archaeological, historical, industrial, educational and community interest.

To promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of lupus in the North East of England through the provision of support, education and practical advice, as well as advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to lupus. The Charity?s objects are for the benefit of the public, to relieve the suffering of cats and kittens in need of care and attention, and in particular to provide and maintain foster spaces or other facilities, for the care and treatment of such cats and kittens until such a time that they can be found safe, secure and loving permanent homes.

The Charity's objects are the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of cricket, but also for other community activities.

As a village Hall, we provide space for community meetings, events, functions, leisure, learning etc. We have kitchen facilities to allow for people and groups to provide refreshments on-site.
