Whitby Boxing Club provides affordable boxing training to residents of all ages in the Town of Whitby, North Yorkshire and surrounding area.

Provision of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parishes of Helperby and Brafferton.

To provide and maintain a hall for the purpose of social, recreational and educational use of the residents of the civil parish of East Cowton and surrounding area.

1.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CLUB ARE SUCH PURPOSES AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE IN ENGLAND & WALES, INCLUDING IN PARTICULAR:1.1.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF CITIZENSHIP BY:1.1.1.1 PROMOTING THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP;1.1.1.2 ENCOURAGING MEMBERS TO TAKE AN ACTIVE INTEREST IN THE CIVIC, CULTURAL, SOCIAL AND MORAL WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY;1.1.1.3 PROVIDING A FORUM FOR THE OPEN DISCUSSION

North East Yorkshire World Cup Legacy 2019 is a charity focused on providing cricket opportunities for deprived children in the Scarborough area. We run inclusive after-school and weekend sessions, offer meals in high-deprivation schools, and provide bursaries to remove financial barriers. Our qualified coaches ignite passion for cricket, linking young players to local clubs.

Advice, welfare and support for people with learning disabilities, their parents and carers. Leisure facilities including social club, football club, trips and holidays.

Ripon and District U3A provides a structure and network within National and International U3A Organisation to enable continued learning for people who are no longer in full time employment.

Beavers and Cubs enjoy playing games making new friends, going on visits and helping others. There is a badge scheme to reward them for trying new things or improving in existing activities.Scouts activities include camping, climbing, canoeing, cycling, hiking, dry skiing, 1st Aid, Scout Craft, Parades, Community, Drama,photography & many other things to help develop young peoples talents.

The charitys current priority is the maintenance of a new vocational learning centre in Durham. The charity also supports worthwhile causes in the north east of England with a view to benefitting the area.

Pre-school playgroup for children aged two to statutory school age

The Parents Association raises funds for the Grammar School

The orchestra's aim is to give amateur musicians in York and the surrounding area the opportunity to rehearse and perform works from the orchestral repertoire. It is particularly keen to encourage younger players, and many of its soloists are young musicians with links to York.

Providing a society where people can come and practice and perform musical works for the benefit of the local community.

Provision and administration of Almshouses for the elderly in need in the Town of Masham in the County of North Yorkshire

SUPPORT TO NAVY, ARMY AND AIR FORCE CADETS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF DETACHMENTS BASED IN YORKSHIRE AND THE HUMBER REGION

The charity distributes food parcels to those experiencing food poverty in Otley and the surrounding area. It operates from Spring Gardens, Westbourne Grove Otley. Non-perishable food is donated at collection points in the town, made up into parcels and delivered to individuals and families referred from outside agencies. We may donate to other charitable groups who alleviate food poverty

To carry out the duties required by the Scout Association as a District Scout Council.

KEY provides services to homeless and vulnerable individuals in and around the city of York

A community workshop providing facilities where people can undertake recreational activities to relieve stress, combat social isolation and develop a sense of self worth.
