PROVIDES A MINIBUS FOR USE BY THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

The provision of community facilities in North Yorkshire for recreational, social and charitable use.

To provide a safe venue for residents of Clapham & Newby for meetings, social and educational and other community activities.

Provision and development of a village playing field for people of all ages. An extensive range of equipment is provided for children and young people together with a skatepark, a small football pitch and a bowling green.

Village Hall activities

We provide a venue for village activities. These include amateur sport, group activities, private functions and performing arts. The hall is used by people of all ages primarily, but not exclusively, by residents of the parishes of Ingleby Greenhow and Easby.

Equine Pathways UK provides equine interactive sessions for children and adults, going through life changing and challenging situations.We off tailor made, individual and group sessions to our centre users, supporting people in need within the community.

Providing financial assistance for housing needs, in the form of non-repayable grants or loans at low or no interest; assistance with residential accommodation and the repair and improvement of such accommodation; and helping those who are aged or disabled in the provision of proper care.

Provides and manages the facilities of a village hall.

RAISE FUNDS FOR THE SCHOOL AND FOR THE PUPILS TO ADD VALUE TO THEIR EDUCATION

Public functions/parties/entertainment

Various activities including book fairs, quizzes, supermarket and street collections, sponsored events and smaller events to raise money for a variety of charities and good causes and to fund rotary projects

We regularly fund raise for the upkeep, repair and improvement of facilities in the building and surrounding land. We are the main social centre for the residents of Timble village. Our fund raising efforts include annual events (bonfire parties, quiz nights, theatre productions etc). Monthly coffee mornings are also held. All members of our surrounding rural community support these events.

Providing Recreational facilities

Serving the community with space for public meetings, indoor bowling, Boccia, Women's Institute, Gardening Club, Village Archive meetings, Parish Council, Theatre and Music events, Film Evenings. Fundraising to support and maintain the premises. Also hired out to individuals and groups.

FUND RAISING FOR RIVERSIDE SCHOOL AND ASSOCIATED SCHOOL RELATED ACTIVITIES

The Charity conducts the Operational Management of Hambleton Village Hall

To assist the school in providing additional resources/equipment for the children.

Walker Memorial Hall is a community centre providing space for cultural, social and sporting activities for the population of Aldbrough St. John and nearby settlements of Carlton and Stanwick.

Supports Richmond Methodist School

Grants for the religious and other charitable work of Quakers in Yorkshire and making grants for other charitable objects with an emphasis on religious charities, animal charities and charities for elderly people, children and disabled persons and for peace and reconciliation. It is the Trust's practice not make more than one grant to the same organisation within a period of 18 months

Provides additional educational activities for the children.Is a joint school fund "Reeth and Gunnerside School Fund" supporting both Reeth Community and Gunnerside Methodist (VC) Federated Primary Schools.
