During this year we raised funds doing events such as; Beer Festival, boxing day dip, Tombola, Paint Run proceeds from these and other events enabled us to make donations to Lions charities & projects plus other organisations as well as providing finance for community related services & activities within our area.

The provision and maintenance, for the benefit of the public, of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religous or other opinions, ancluding use for:a/ meetings, lectures and classes and b/ other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupationwith the object of improving conditions of life for the inhabitants.

To enable the Village Hall to provide a community facility in the village of Tockwith, enabling user groups, clubs and societies to conduct a variety of activities. The charity manages and maintains the building on behalf of Tockwith with Wilstrop Parish Council.

The provision and maintenance of Riccall Village Hall so that it may provide a venue for the residents of Riccall and the surrounding. The focus of activities remains on the hire of rooms to local groups and residents, with any income raised to meet the costs of repairs and maintenance of the Hall, for the building and facilities longevity.

The Village Hall provides a facility that is used by all age groups in the local community. It is a meeting place for the village Community Cafe, Pre School Play Group, Table Tennis, Karate, and various exercise classes. It can also be hired out for private parties, meetings and exhibitions.

To promote and foster the study of all branches of natural history and add to existing knowledge, both generally and regarding Wharfedale in particular. To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.

Through the Management of Investments to provide ad hoc financial support to Students who are in full time education and resident in the Parish of Danby including the village of Westerdale in North Yorkshire.

The charity,s activities include giving support to children in education or training, giving occassional relief/support to the elderly who are affected by poverty, and providing support to religious activities within the ecclesiastical Parish of Carlton & Drax.

The Arts Society Helmsley promotes the Arts in its area of North Yorkshire by providing educational meetings with lecturers selected from a list approved by The National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies. It makes grants to encourage Young Arts and encourages study activities and supports preservation of artistic heritage.

We are a uniformed youth group providing facilities for young people between 10 and 18 in the Harrogate & District area, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.

Activities relevant to Scouting as per the constitution of the Scout Association.

Scouting activities for 1st Sowerby Scout groups. Additionally, management of Sowerby Scout and Guide Headquarters on behalf of 1st Sowerby and other local Scouting and Guiding groups
