We are a 'Parent Teacher Association' who fundraise throughout the school calendar year to raise additional funds to provide extra resources, equipment and money for the children of the school. This is done via Summer & Christmas fairs, competitions and shows.

Providing and managing Open spaces for public walks, recreation areas; conservation and nature areas, outdoor sports and field gardens (allotments)

Our primary aim is to help the people of York, the U.K. and elsewhere across the world, who are less fortunate. The Club supports children and youth, elderly people and those with disabilities, and all mankind. Our Rocking Rudolph schedule at Christmas is our major fundraiser.The club manufactures and distributes toiletry packs to hospitals, and collects used spectacles for recycling, and others

TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE PRIORY CHURCH OF ST. MARY AND ST. CUTHBERT, BOLTON ABBEY.THIS IS ACHIEVED BY SUPPORTING BOLTON PRIORY'S PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL IN PRESERVING AND MAINTAINING THE FABRIC OF BOLTON PRIORY, IT'S FITTINGS, FURNITURE, AND ORNAMENTS, AND ALSO IT'S SERVICES AND MUSIC.

Provision of low cost housing to individuals who meet specific criteria under the constitution of this Charity.

Encourage all amateur musicians, particularly youth. Create a welcoming environment, striving for individual and collective music improvement. Improve and maintain links with the local community and local bodies, through production of a concert programme. To advance the education of the public in the understanding and appreciation of the arts, in particular opera, theatre and music.

We are a community choir which advances, improves, develops and maintains public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

Ensure that the Burnsall School is continued and remains true to the vision of its founder Sir William Craven.Uphold the religious (Christian) character of the school as set out in the statutes of 1605.Maintain the school premises and contribute to capital projects. Help needy pupils.Appoint Foundation Governors in accordance with the UWPF Instrument of Government.

The provision of grants for persons in conditions of need hardship or distress in the area covered by Whitby Town Council

The Society organises a season of classical piano music concerts by International Artists from October to Easter.

Darley PTFA works closely with Darley Primary School to raise funds from events throughout the year. The money raised helps provide valuable equipment and facilities that would otherwise not be available. In particular some funds are used to provide transport for school trips.

We have the declared aims of facilitating the provision of active travel infrastructure (paths, benches, storage etc), and promoting the uptake of active travel in the Whitby and Esk Valley area.

The charity aims to promote the health, well being, and interaction of the people of Gilling East and its associated hamlets by converting the former village school building into a village hall and playing field as a centre for indoor and outdoor activities. This project seeks to encourage the cohesion of the community, promoting a sense of belonging and community responsibility.

Stape Silver Band is a Brass Band who provide opportunities for all to be involved in music through being part of a band and the opportunity to learn an instrument. We play concerts and contests throughout the year for all user groups.
