To develop, promote and advance Guiding in Northumberland, in libe with the Guide Association's Mission and Vision which is 'The Guide Association, as part of a worldwide movement, enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential and take an active and rsponsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders

The charitys current priority is the maintenance of a new vocational learning centre in Durham. The charity also supports worthwhile causes in the north east of England with a view to benefitting the area.

The trust holds permanent endowment funds which its Trustee is unable to hold as it is a limited company. Like its Trustee it is a generalist grant maker, primarily for the benefit of communities in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland

Focus around family support. Individual advice, support and guidance according to the needs of our families.

The provision and maintenance of a hall for the use of the inhabitants of Wark and surrounding villages without distinction of political, religious other opinions includes use for: a) meetings, lectures and classes b) other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants.

The organisation provides services throughout the year for the benefit of the LGBTQ community in the region, as well as providing regional events, and training to progress equality and diversity within the region.

Jack's Journey supports Cumbrian families who have received a cancer diagnosis and are currently, or have recently finished, cancer treatment. This is through financial grant making, but also through smaller gifts to aid their time in hospital.In addition, Jack's Journey provides holiday accommodation for families from across the north who are currently, or recently finished, cancer treatment.

The principal Activity of the company is to provide disabled people with the means to ride at the level of their ability, choice and ambition

1. to preserve and protect the lives of persons who are missing or endangered by accident or natural hazard by conducting research into all aspects of the techniques used for searching for such persons2. to disseminate the useful results of such research3. to assist the voluntary and statutory emergency services in connection with such work by providing training and publishing materials

The Church Hall provides a focal point for the social, sporting & cultural activities of the widespread community which straddles the Northumberland/Durham boundary. Its Management Committee all volunteer their services to ensure they maximise their resources & are appreciated by those that use them.

The advancement of education and training in Northumberland, Tyne, Wear and County Durham bringing together learning providers to promote and provide collaboration in support of vocational, work-based & work-related learning provision in the area of benefit; the sharing of good practice; and the working with key partners & stakeholders to promote and improve this provision.

We present, each year, a series of chamber music concerts given by artists of international reputation.

Spittal Improvement Trust carry out project works and hold events within our community for the benefit of the whole community. Projects range from preserving existing facilities, restoration of historical buildings and maintaining planted areas. Our events include seasonal fairs, entertainment evenings and festivals.

Its main aims are to introduce people to the love of God shown through Jesus Christ, to encourage those who already know God's love to keep trusting in Him. The prevention or relief of poverty people in Blyth and the surrounding area by providing food, essential household items and toiletries to individuals in financial need. To promote social inclusion by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
