The name of the congregation is German speaking Lutheran Congregation Newcastle upon Tyne. The purpose of the charity is the promotion of the Christian religion. We offer religious services in German language and commits to the proclamation of the Gospel in pastoral care, congregational activities and social services to all German speaking people residing permanently or temporarily within its area

To provide the inhabitants of the Rede, North Tyne and Coquet valleys and the neighbourhood, in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation and leisure occupation, for the purposes of relaxation and with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The charity works in the secular parish of Shilbottle with the general aim of improving the quality of life for the community as a whole. Alnwick Music Society's aim is to arrange chamber-music concerts given by professional musicians of high quality, which are usually but not exclusively classical, for the enjoyment of people living mainly in Alnwick and Berwick districts in Northumberland, though all are welcome.

The North East Trust for Aphasia supports people in the North East who have aphasia. Aphasia is a communication problem, often following stroke, which can affect an adult's ability to speak, read, write and understand other people. It can have devastating effects on peoples' lifes. NETA has set up a Support Centre for people with aphasia which offers support via communication and project groups.

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Fawside works on behalf of rural communities in the North Pennines, focusing primarily on the Allen Valleys. We provide a local source of advice, support and direct practical help for community groups, individuals and administrative support for small local businesses.

The charity aims to break the cycle of re-offending, relapse and homelessness. It helps people to reconnect and reintegrate into society by: demonstrating the unconditional love of Jesus, providing accommodation for vulnerable adults including ex-offenders and people with addiction problems, supporting tenants into work, education or training, sharing how to have a living relationship with Jesus.
