To relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage.

The objects are the relief of suffering, sickness and mental and emotional distress of people, particularly children and young adults suffering from brain tumours, their families and carers. Funds are actively raised through events and the sale of merchandise to support individuals and organisations, either carrying out research or providing care within the charity's remit above.

Gives small grants to individuals in North East England and Cumbria who have had a Breast Cancer Diagnosis.Grants up to £100. Fundraising events mainly organised locally.

To promote, improve and advance public education and knowledge of the development of railways associated with Robert Stephenson, his Companies, Partnerships, and other interests in the City of Newcastle upon Tyne.2. To preserve for Newcastle upon Tyne and the nation, historical and architectural buildings and associated artefacts concerned with the development of railways.

The purpose of the fund shall be to grant financial or medical assistance to registered players, referees and to others who have rendered service to the association or to their families.

During our first 12 months of operation from April 2010 we raised -+?17,787which we used to help the families of 16 children.Our objective is the relief of sickness, the preservation and protection of health of disabled children with special and complex needs living in the North-East of England by loaning on a long term basis specialist toys, equipment and sensory aids.

We hold WI classes, meetings, sport activities. social occasions & catering in our new kitchen. The local school cooked in while the school was being renovated, children's partys, line dancing.

Our charitys aims are to enable spinaly injured wheelchair users to come to terms with there injuries through sport and socialisation, wheelcair users without spinal injuries are welcome to join our club.

To disburse funding for the promotion of musical development in the North of England

We endeavour to alleviate poverty and deprivation within older communities and change negative attitudes of older people. We work in partnership with similar organisations to improve government and local authority policy, including Health Care, Housing, Social Deprivation and Personal Financial issues. Our elderly volunteers give their time and energy and do all the work. We have no employees.

RELIEF OF PATIENTS AT HILLCREST MATERNITY UNIT IN ALNWICK BY THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH PATIENTS AND TO PROVIDE AMENITIES FOR BOTH PATIENTS & STAFF.

The principal activities of Project Sri Lanka have as their purpose the education and relief of Sri Lankan people living in disadvantaged communities. These activities include the provision of goods, services and grants; support for schools and teachers; and sending trained volunteers to work in communities. Ten buildings, used as schools and community centres, have been paid for by the charity.
