We are a group of around 20 volunteers, who provide and support horse and riding activities for children with learning difficulties and physical disabilities in the west Northumberland area.

Provide playing field and changing facilities for sport also meeting room for Parish Council, and a number of local groups.

Grants to children who attend/attended the two local schools for educational purposes

At the AGM in April 2024, new trustees were appointed. They have updated the objects of the charity which will include a community facility in the village of Wark.At the meeting on 19th March 2025, the 'object' was altered to comply with the Commissions recommendation.The AGM was held on 7th July 2025. All trustees attended. It was agreed that planning permission was now to be obtained.

WE ORGANISE 10 MILE PLEASURE RIDES TO PROMOTE BRIDLEWAY AWARENESS. ISSUE QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS. GIVE ADVICE & INFORMATION TO MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

The integral Archives relating to the social and historical life of the Islanders are available for study and research by the Holy Island Community Archive Group. PROVIDING DIETARY & ORAL HEALTH EDUCATION SESSIONS FOR CHILDREN AGED PRE-SCHOOL TO THE AGE OF 11. THE SESSIONS WILL COVER UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD DENTAL HEALTH; EDUCATING CHILDREN ON WHAT CAUSES TOOTH DECAY; ENCOURAGING DAILY DENTAL CARE. THE SESSIONS WILL USE A MIX OF GAMES, COLOURING SHEETS, LEARNING DENTAL HEALTH VOCABULARY, DISCUSSING FOODS AND CAUSES OF DENTAL DECAY.

We provide trishaw cycle rides for those members of our community who through either disability or age have limited mobility.
