To carry out fund raising activities in the Hexham, Northumberland area and then to make donations to further aid the development of children at Acomb County First School, Acomb, Northumberland.

Our charity runs a yearly Autumn Fayre, coffee afternoons with book Fayres, we also collect clothes for the air ambulance all of this helps to Fund the Panto trips, Educatational books for the children,provide the school with a photo copier and support the childrens christmas party. Our Charity also runs a Local music Group which helps the children and the local community learn music.

RELIEF OF PATIENTS AT HILLCREST MATERNITY UNIT IN ALNWICK BY THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH PATIENTS AND TO PROVIDE AMENITIES FOR BOTH PATIENTS & STAFF.

Provide education, interests and entertainment for women in the local community, in an informal, sociable setting. We link with members around the country.Meetings are held once a month and speakers are arranged to cover a variety of interests, both informative and entertaining.

We endeavour to alleviate poverty and deprivation within older communities and change negative attitudes of older people. We work in partnership with similar organisations to improve government and local authority policy, including Health Care, Housing, Social Deprivation and Personal Financial issues. Our elderly volunteers give their time and energy and do all the work. We have no employees.

We organise fundraising events, to raise monies for the benefit of all the children in our school. We also provide volunteers to assist with school activities and events.

Horse Riding Sessions to children and adults

The Reading Room is available for island residents and appropriate visiting groups for meetings and educational purposes. The integral Archives relating to the social and historical life of the Islanders are available for study and research by the Holy Island Community Archive Group. Bookings to be made through the Trustees. Funds raised are for the maintenance and improvement of the facilities.

Help Fund Educational Visits and Activities For Students In The Locallity

We aim to preserve and improve a small 11thC church within the village of Edlingham. The church also supports the local rural community and is the only focal point within the village. We organise events to improve community co-hesion which take place within the church which is lacking basic facilities.

To assist women in the County of Northumberland who are in need of rest and respite towards the cost of a break. The charity exists to help particularly those who are caring for others or who are convalescent.

Grants to children who attend/attended the two local schools for educational purposes

Makes small grants to clergy in the Diocese of Newcastle to enable them to take a break from their parish duties
