Anxious Minds is a charity dedicated to providing comprehensive support for individuals in the North East. Our mission focuses on early intervention and long-term assistance for children,adults and the veteran community facing mental health challenges, addiction, and the aftermath of abuse. By serving the public, we aim to enhance the well-being of our community.

The main activities undertaken during the period were skills training, shipbuilding, sail training and the ongoing development of a visitor centre.

We work to create equality of opportunity in arts and culture for disabled people in the North East of England. We do this by supporting and promoting the work of disabled artists, by enabling and facilitating disabled people to access all aspects of the arts, by assisting cultural venues to become inclusive and by presenting a programme of arts and cultural activity.

Maintain & manage Hexham Community Centre to provide offices for rent, rooms for hire & facilities to voluntary & Community groups in the Hexham & Tynedale Area. Also to facilitate two elderly persons groups and provide OFSTED registered Pre-school Playgroup, who now also facilitate the Parent & Toddler group held in the Community Centre.

The main aim of the Society is to promote agricultural in Northumberland - one of the ways of doing this is by holding an annual Agricultural Show, held on last bank Holiday Monday in May.

We deliver projects and services meeting the economic, social and environmental needs of the people of Berwick-upon-Tweed. We provide advice and training to people seeking employment. We manage the local foodbank, provide benefit advice and advocate on behalf of residents with local agencies. We manage a community building and run economic development projects.

Headway Arts develops accessible, engaging and inclusive arts projects to those isolated from many activities. Projects are designed with specific communities to develop events giving positive images of their culture and developing confidence and self esteem. Headway Arts currently support Seven Stars Learning Disabled Theatre Co and work with over 2000 people every year.

Maintenance of arms houses relief in need, hardship and distress in Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside and South Tyneside and all places within 5 miles of the River Tyne.

We work with migrant people in the North East of England, especially Sunderland. We focus on those with limited access to information and support network, including migrants and refugee and the Eastern European community. We came to being in 2009 and have now converted to a CIO. Provides funding for kidney research in the North of England.

The CVYP Ltd work with young people 8-19 yrs and up to 25 yrs for young people with special needs. We have many projects i.e. music, mountain biking, archery, all sports, outdoor ed and youth work.We work closely with local schools/colleges, multiple agencies, NCC and the DofE Award scheme as well as the John Muir Awards. In addition CVYP has a leased off- site expedition centre in Kielder.

Bright Futures deliver a range of project activities to young women aged 11-25 to increase their health, wellbeing and safety. We deliver projects around a range of issues including alcohol misuse, sexual health, domestic abuse, young mums, unemployment and exploitation.

Birkheads Wild supports young people in Gateshead and the wider North East area to build a better future for themselves - using the outdoors. By using the outdoors we help young people to grow in skills and confidence, to think for themselves and become more fulfilled. Our work helps young people to understand themselves better, to feel a sense of belonging, to grow in skills and confidence.

Our work is based around the four core areas of worship. learning and caring, service and evangelism. We provide a network of people who enable various experiences of worship. Personnel, technological and skill resources to equip churches and promote community development. Outreach events are also held to engage people with the central ingredients of the Christian faith.

Public worship is held on Sundays. Festivals are marked by special additional services which have a community appeal.Trinity provides a wide range of weekday activities for the church and wider communities. Special services and activities are held for those with learning difficulties. Each year, a barbecue is held on 3 days, during which free food is offered to the wider community.

Improving women's mental health & emotional wellbeing offering: Targeted support to women affected by eg domestic abuse, long term mental ill health or inequality: Mental health courses for women eg coping with depression, managing anxiety, recovery: Counselling over a range of theraputic approaches: Drop-in sessions; Theraputic activities; Support enabling onward development & progression.

Youth Project offering recreational and educational activities, projects and intervention for young people age 11- 25.This will include information, advice and guidance through our Employability Project, accreditations and awards as well as Teen Bar evening activities, with an emphasis on raising awareness on health related issues that affect young people.

Team Solan is a charity created to help people impacted by a cancer. diagnosis or bereavement. Our aim is to help improve the quality of life of those affected by cancer within the North East of England. We provide bespoke help, support, advice and signposting for families and individuals who are dealing with the turmoil that cancer can bring.

Advancing the christian faith; relieving sickness and financial hardship; advancing education

To promote community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for exercise, competition and recreation on the water and on land, safely, and by the provision of encouragement and instruction in the sport of rowing, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas.

Religious Activities

Educational charity. Financial assistance available for the advancement of higher or further education within the diocese's of Durham and Newcastle. In furthering this objective the Managing Trustees will have regard to -a.the advancement of education in accordance with the doctrines of The Church of Englandb.the needs of students undergoing training as teachers.

The Hexham Youth Initiative provides a safe environment where children and young people can receive information, advice and support, develop their own projects and play a full and active part in community life. We run a youth cafe, drop-in sessions and a host of specialist sessions - for example, Duke of Edinburgh, Girls Group, Young Carers as well as providing mentoring and counselling.
