Our charity holds regular fund raising events in order to raise vital additional funds to support educational activities for all children such as curriculum based day trips and a Y5/6 residential. The fund raising also provides additional educational equipment for school including for PE and Forest Schools.

The charity was established to support the education of young people between the ages of 11 and 25 years resident in the Parish of Clayworth and Wiseton in North Nottinghamshire. Each year it distributes an equal amount of money to each young person who applies in writing, stating the educational purpose for which the money will be used.

The Audio Magazine produces monthly a CD containing news, talks, interviews, & reports on local topics for local people who either have a visual impairment, restricted mobilty, or older people who wish to stay in touch with their local community. This service is free-of-charge.

Misterton Bowls Club provides facilities for members to participate in the game of lawn bowls both competitively and for social and recreation purposes.Anyone can apply for membership, but the majority of our members tend to be retired people. For most of our members this is their main form of physical activity and means of social interaction.

This Rotary club operates in the Ashfield / Mansfield area to raise funds for local, national and international charities. It also supports financially, local organisations such as Senior Citizens, Scouts and Guides and other worthy causes.
