We organise activities to raise funds which are used to enhance the education of children at Mapperley Plains Primary School. Events include fairs and discos and they also help to develop ties between parents, carers, staff and children - strenthening the sense of a school community.

Misterton Bowls Club provides facilities for members to participate in the game of lawn bowls both competitively and for social and recreation purposes.Anyone can apply for membership, but the majority of our members tend to be retired people. For most of our members this is their main form of physical activity and means of social interaction.

Urban Abbey aims to advance Christianity in Nottingham and elsewhere for the benefit of the public, by:1. hosting prayer meetings, worship, celebrations of Easter and Advent, retreats, religious education, and producing material that helps others to understand the Christian faith;2. carrying out pastoral care, outreach and missionary work ;3. holding communal meals and celebrating community.

Engaging in and arranging: fund raising activities/events to facilitate the purchase of equipment for the School; activities which support the School and advance the education of the pupils.

We provide talks on interesting subjects and social interaction for our members. We arrange outings to interesting places.

MANSFIELD STREET PASTORS IS AN INTER-DENOMINATIONAL CHURCH RESPONSE TO URBAN PROBLEMS. WE ENGAGE WITH PEOPLE IN OUR TOWN ON A SATURDAY NIGHT - TO CARE, TO LISTEN, AND TO HELP. WE GET INVOLVED PRACTICALLY, MEETING THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE, OFTEN IN VULNERABLE SITUATIONS - RESPONDING TO THE PROBLEMS OF CRIME AND SAFETY ON OUR STREETS.

The charitys area of operation is limited to the former urban district of Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.

Fund Raising Charity for Holy Family Primary School.Activities include School Fun Day (Summer Fayre), Disco's for the pupils, Jumble Sales, 5 A Side Football event for pupils and other ad hoc fundraising activities

Promotion of pipe organs and organ music by means of visits, recitals, lectures and master classes. Activities are advertised locally by means of a newsletters in public libraries, through the Societies' web site and are open to all-comers. Membership and events are free to students. We publish a locum list of organists who are willing to provide cover for services, weddings, funerals, etc.

To advance in life and help young people aged 30 and under resident in the geographical area of the East Midlands through the provision of grants of financial assistance to enable them to advance their education and develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

Sirona Homes provides dispersed housing to women who have experienced domestic abuse and need a safe and secure home to successfully rebuild their lives, claim back their independence and live a fulfilling life free from violence & fear. The women tenants are supported by staff who provide intensive housing support and address emotional and therapeutic issues associated with the trauma of abuse.

Raising money for the school to enhance the children's learning

CPRE Nottinghamshire wants a better future for England's unique and precious countryside. We work locally throughout Nottinghamshire and nationally to protect and enhance a beautiful, thriving countryside for everyone to value and enjoy. From giving parish councils expert advice on planning issues to influencing national policies, we want to protect and enhance our living countryside.

Stanton Vale Friends Association is a group of likeminded staff and parents that wish to raise money to support the work of Stanton Vale school. In the past money has been raised to pay for a safe mobility / play area, adapted cookers as well as a defibrillator that benefits not just the school but the local community. The Association is currently raising money towards adaptive play equipment.

Provision of premises for use by Villagers, the church, and other groups and organisations, both within the local community and outside.

Making items out of wood and other materials. planters, bird boxes, scroll saw work, pyrography and wood turning. Soft crafts including knitting and patchwork.

The principal object of the charity is to relieve patients and former kidney patients of the Nottingham City hospital and satellite units who are sick,convalescent,disabled,handicapped.infirm or in need of financial assistance.

Our core activity is to perform the Lincoln Mystery Plays at approximately 4-year intervals, but we engage in other theatre and music-based activities as well as education work.
