SPaCE puts on awareness raising and fundraising events in Sheffield. We send money to projects operating in the OPT (including Gaza) that are delivering improvement to the cultural life and mental health of young people

We support the work of the Parents Circle-Families Forum (PC-FF), a joint Israeli-Palestinian organisation comprising families who have been bereaved as a result of the ongoing conflict. Despite their profound losses, these families reject revenge and violence, choosing instead to advocate dialogue and reconciliation. We raise awareness and funds to support PC-FF in their work.

Poverty

Activities this year have been to support children who are living in the Holy Land by providing relief for those who currently may not be receiving help, who are in critical need because of extreme financial hardship, physical or mental illness / disability, abandonment, the death of one or both parents or family breakdown.

We aim to reduce the psychological consequences of war and disaster on children by training responsible adults to implement the evidence-based group interventions that we have developed. We regularly train people from many different countries. We promote research into the effects of traumatic events in order to improve the help provided.

RESCUE, FOSTER & ADOPT DOGS OF THE GREAT DANE & GREAT DANE CROSS BREEDS. DANELINE USES 'FOSTER' HOMES ALL OVER THE UK INSTEAD OF KENNELS WHILE WE FIND THE RIGHT HOMES FOR THE DOGS. THE 'FOSTER PARENTS' PROVIDE LOCAL HELP AND ADVICE THROUGHOUT THE ADOPTION AS WELL AS PROVIDING A VITAL LINK IN THE AFTERCARE SERVICE. WE ALSO MAKE GRANTS TO & ASSIST OTHER UK REGISTERED CHARITIES WITH SIMILAR PURPOSES.
