The Friends of Great Milton School raise funds through a range of events and dedicates all surplus to Great Milton Church of England Primary School. Money raised supports the school, to develop play equipment in the play ground and support educational activities.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).

To help the conservation and preservation of the wild European Hedgehog (Erinaceus europaeus) by providing rescue, care and rehabilitation for sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs, with the aim of releasing them back to the wild. We also aims to educate the public by offering talks to various groups.

PTA fundraising activities, disco, summer and xmas fayre, event evening

Provides young musicians with the opportunity to play an instrument within a symphony orchestra. The charity provides the young musicians with dedicated tutoring and the opportunity to play two prestigious concerts in a year. Concerts are open to all the community and are advertised locally.

According to the trust deed the charity is solely for the benefits of residents in the parish of Holy Trinity, Headington Quarry.

Citizenship Training of young people of both sexes, up to the age of 20 years old, including adventure training, as well as stimulating an interest in aviation.

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides run from our HQ. Hall & facilities hired to different groups, eg dancing and gardening plus functions for the community of Goring.

MANAGEMENT OF PIDDINGTON VILLAGE HALL

Didcot Volunteer Drivers operates a transport scheme for those local people who are unable to use or have no access to public transport.Bookings for healthcare appointments are made by phone to our office. Volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to pick up clients from home and drive them to and from their appointments.

The Howe Trust (Wheatley) provides small grants for local people in need, and care for 26 acres of land. The land, which is known collectively as The Howe, includes some 100 allotments, a small orchard and memorial tree area as well as grassland, hedgerows and woodland. Working with other local and charitable organisations, we manage the land for bio diversity and the benefit of the community.

The management and maintenance of the village hall in Ducklington for the benefit of the villagers.

A village hall for the use of inhabitants of Marston and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex, politics, religious or other opinion and in particular for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.
