The Objects of the Charity are to advance the education of young people aged under 25 within the City of Plymouth, with a particular emphasis on the neighbourhood of Stonehouse (the Area of Benefit) in such ways as the Trustees think fit including (without limitation).

The provision of child care, play, creative and youth activities for children, young people and families from the inner city wards of the City of Plymouth.

The Margaret Jackson Trust supports The Margaret Jackson Centre in providing low cost, self-referral, short or long-term counselling to people over the age of 18 who are residents of Devon.

TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF BASKETBALL AND OTHER SPORTS OR ACTIVITIES CAPABLE OF IMPROVING PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH

Pregnancy Crisis Care exists to offer free, confidential counselling and support to those facing any pregnancy-related crises, at any age/stage. This includes impartial pregnancy-choices counselling, counselling for difficulties after abortion, counselling for baby loss, and support within pregnancy . These services are offered 1:1 to women (and their partners), or in a group, when available.

The provision of regular public acts of worship open to members of the church and non-members alike. The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. The provision of youth and parent and toddler activities, and women's and men's meetings with a Christian ethos. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas financially and with prayer.

General charitable community work

Scouting in the District continued with most groups. This was mainly on zoom although when it was possible, face2face Scouting did take place. The District was able to take advantage of the covid grants from Plymouth City Council. Hopefully Scouting will be able to return to normal during the forthcoming year.

Dartmoor Search & Rescue Team (Tavistock) provide search & rescue services for the Police and Ambulance services for Dartmoor and the surrounding rural area. The team searches for and recovers missing persons of all ages and circumstances, such as youth groups, the elderly, despondents and those with dementia, and provides first aid and rescue cover for Ten Tors and similar events.

We provide a place of worship, regular meditation classes and retreats. Provide and follow the 3 study programmes of the NKT. School visits. Opportunities for volunteers.

We provide care and education for children aged 2-4 years of age, during term times.

We are an after school and holiday club, we collect form four local primary schools in are area. we also run ever school holiday . we also run a junior club activity term time once a week. we work along side the local authority offering opportunities for better inclusive play.Through are groups we offer trips, residentials local visit and sport, we also try and provide workshops.

Provide Devon uses surplus food (supplemented by purchased fresh produce) donated by businesses and homes by redirecting it to those in financial need, without judgement or discrimination. Support to disadvantaged or marginalised individuals and families is given, meeting the basic requirements of clients in a one off crisis food hamper.

Offering practical services and emotional support to bereaved parents after baby loss and anxious parents enduring pregnancy after loss in Devon in Cornwall.

The objects of the charity, as amended on 15 June 2004, are the provision of care for persons in need, mainly in the inner Plymouth area, and the trustees may relieve those eligible for assistance by making direct grants or providing goods and services and by making grants to other persons or bodies who provide such assistance.

Distribution of Christian gospel resources; sale of fairly traded goods, collecting funds and making donations to promote the preaching of the Christian Gospel and poverty relief in the UK and abroad

The Trust makes grants to organisations to help with the costs of maintenance and repairs of places of worship and provides advocacy, advice and information to applicants about other sources of funding which may be available.

After school/holiday/breakfast club providing extended care for children from 4 - 11 years.

The relief of persons resident in the City of Plymouth with a particular regard to Honicknowle & surrounding areas who are in condition of need, hardship & distress. The advancement of education (including) pre school of persons resident in Honicknowle & surrounding areas. Providing provision of facilities for recreation/leisure.

General Charitable PurposesReligious Activities

To promote the forum for interfaith and intercultural activities; To provide a resource centre for schools and the wider community; To support schools in teaching the syllabus for religious education.

Services-Befriending, counselling, help to homeless/vulnerable, immigration advice, translation/interpreting services to ASR residing in Plymouth area, social/inter cultural activities, football and African dance, drumming/music and Religious activities

To help and educate children between the ages of nine and eighteen years through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities so that they may grow to full maturity as adults and members of the community and that their conditions of life may be improved employing the traditions and practices of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines to achieve this.
