We provide childcare as a preschool registered by Ofsted and also run separate parent and toddler sessions. We are part of the mission of Ridgeway Methodist Church, Plympton, Plymouth PL7 1JJ and operate on the church premises.

Dreadnought promotes the voices of women through the arts and engages with women of all ages and backgrounds. Dreadnought make special efforts to engage with women who may be isolated for social, geographic, cultural and/or economic reasons. In 2018 Dreadnought are running a series of projects throughout the year. Full details of the projects can be found on our website.

The supervision of 16 Almshouse flats, for Ladies only, over 60 years of age, living in Plymouth with limited means.

Plymstock Chapel holds Church services to provide opportunities for anyone to worship, fellowship and receive teaching about the Christian faith. In addition various small groups are run for the same purpose. We also provide parent and toddler sessions and activities for young people. We are involved in schools work, pastoral support and we support other charities.

Samaritans vision is that fewer people die by suicide. We provide a non judgmental listening ear for anyone in distress or despair. People contact us by phone, email, text and face to face at our branch. Our work is based at our office near Plymouth city centre, however we also do outreach within the local community in schools, colleges, prison, the workplace and homeless centres.

Relief of distress caused to adults by childhood sexual abuse

The provision of grants for further education, professional or sports training to financially disadvantaged students, mainly living away from home, who, in the opinion of the trustees, would benefit from financial assistance unobtainable from other sources. The trustees have the authority to fund academic departments/chairs, or buildings used by or lived in by the financially disadvantaged

Our core activity is a regular Sunday service, in the church, for worship and celebration. We also have discussion groups and action groups meeting on weekdays, e.g. a Green Group, a Poetry Group and other discussion groups. We support other chosen charities by fund-raising, and liaise with other faith and inter-faith groups, with the aim of promoting inter-faith communication and harmony.

To promote activities and educational opportunities for local residents and surrounding areas of Plymouth. The centre offers a warm friendly environment where people can relax and enjoy the gardens and also learn about gardening and conservation. The centre aims to combat loneliness and isolation within members of the community.

The provision of accommodation and facilities for people with learning difficulties.

Working to support the wellbeing of individuals suffering depression or anxiety or recovering from physical illness, carers who need respite, those who need support towards confidence, self esteem, time away from pressures, development of vocational skills and any other person who might benefit from horticultural therapy.A safe, empathic, calm, nurturing, enjoyable and empowering environment

The activities of the Trust are governed by the Subject, to include the art, science and technology of agriculture, food and land use and of disciplines supporting agriculture, food and land use or such other arts, sciences and branches of technology as the Trustees may determine.

Religious Activities

The object of the association is the relief of persons suffering injury or sickness by the provision of immediate medical treatment to any person involved in serious accidents or medical emergencies in Devon & its environs.

The use of the charity's income for the relief of persons in the area of benefit (the boundaries of the area of Plymouth City Council) who are sick, convalescent, disbled or infirm by relieving their suffering or assisting their recovery.

We promote community participation in the sport of hockey through our coaching programme and involvement in competitions for all age groups and abilities.

The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage within the area of interest.Such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as the trustees may from time to time determine.

WE WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DEVON & SOMERSET FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE / LOCAL COMMUNITES ON COMMUNITY SAFETY. OUR WORK INCLUDES, FIRE PREVENTION, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR E.G FIRESETTING, COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AND SAFE DRIVING. WE PROVIDE ADVICE AND EXPERTISE, MAKE GRANTS TO LOCAL GROUPS IN NEED, RAISE FUNDING, ASSIST OTHER GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDING AND HELP TRAIN AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHERS.

To provide a community building to enable groups to have a venue where they can provide activities for the people in the Chaddlewood and PL7 area of benefit.The centre hosts church groups, young people (youth) drop in, dancing classes, a summer and christmas fair, a social club, parent and toddler groups, educational activities (computer Literacy), karate and t'wondo and many more activities..
