Providing visionary rehabilitation programmes for individuals in the criminal justice system.

The objects are (a) to advance the Christian religion in accordance with the faith and practice of the Church of England, in particular by furthering the mission of the Church of England; (b) to care for and conserve the fabric and structure of the Cathedral Church building; (c) to advance any other charitable purposes which are ancillary to the furtherance of the above purposes

Home-Start Portsmouth offers a unique service to parents (with at least one child under school age) through the provision of trained and supervised volunteers who visit families in their own home and through professionally run family groups both of which offer regular, informal support, friendship and practical help.

EC Roberts Centre is based in Portsmouth but also provides services in Gosport and Havant. Working together to improve the lives of Children and Families we develop and deliver innovative services for families who are facing homelessness or the impact of family breakdown giving people the skills to manage their money, home and children.

To this end the charity runs the John Pounds Centre, providing sports and leisure facilities, an IT suite, revitalisation suite, art studio, cafe and creche and organising activities for local residents.
