To advance education and provide facilities for social, recreational and creative leisure time opportunities for the people of Portsmouth, particularly in the area known as Portsea. To this end the charity runs the John Pounds Centre, providing sports and leisure facilities, an IT suite, revitalisation suite, art studio, cafe and creche and organising activities for local residents.

HIVE Portsmouth works in partnership with local people, groups and organisations to improve the well-being of people in Portsmouth. We support the development of voluntary and community groups, social enterprise, volunteering and social action. We provide information to guide people to the right support at the right time, enabling early intervention, independence and resilience.

The preservation and protection of the mental health, wellbeing and the relief of need for Armed Forces Veterans (both Regular and Reservist) or former members of the merchant marines and their family members by providing assessment, treatment, support, advice and advocacy. Operating in South East England, mainly Hampshire and Isle of Wight.

To provide day care for children of service families to advance the development & education of pre-school children. Provide a safe, healthy, happy, stimulating environment. Assist the development of children through structured free play & meet the requirements of Ofsted & the local educational authorities.

Our Mission is to increase the charitable funding that is available to voluntary organisations and community groups active in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We provide efficient donor and grant making services, which are open, accessible, and user friendly. We build a bridge between people who care about their local community and the wide range of voluntary and community groups needing help.

HOPE Portsmouth runs various community projects including: Portsmouth Food Bank, Community Circles of Support, ROC Community Mentoring, undertakes various youth and children's activities, as well as Hope Church Sunday services and midweek church community activities.

Small housing association for persons over the age of 60 years.

Wellbeing and emotional support, independent living aids and magnification equipment, grants, information advice and guidance, activities and services to sight impaired people in Hampshire.

PROVIDES SHELTERED ACCOMMODATION FOR THE ACTIVE ELDERLY. SUPPORTED TO LIVE INDEPENDENT LIVES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

We are a friendly and vibrant Church passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Christian Faith. We are actively involved in our local community and city, undertaking charitable activities, and working in partnership for the well being of the members of our community, including young people, families and the vulnerable and disadvantaged. The objects are to educate the Naval Service and auxiliaries and other members of the public about the history of HMS Caroline and the history of the Royal Navy and other matters relating to the defence of the realm.

Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association provides support, advice and educational services for children and their families in South Hampshire. We offer an extensive range of services including early development sessions for preschool children, communication therapy, parent and professional training days and a school outreach service. We also hold social events, drama groups and seasonal parties.

Provide information and support for people with brain injuries, their families and carers.

We provide home for vulnerably homeless people. We seek and work with investors to purchase the properties and then work with relevant organisations to ensure homeless people are housed.

Community preschool in the local Hilsea area of Portsmouth
