Provision and maintenance of a village hall and recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of the community of Llangynidr.

We aim to provide a happy, safe and secure environment, which promotes learning through play, for all children attending our sessions. If your child has additional learning needs please talk to us and we will be happy to offer whatever support we can, to ensure he/she benefits from their time with us. We provide a wide variety of activities, which include Numicon, ICT, painting, yoga, play dough

Promotion and organisation of arts and educational activities in the Mid-Wales Border area

We have a main meeting each week usually with an outside speaker on a variety of topics. In addition we have, on average, 36 study groups which cover a wide range of interests including: discussion; mah-jong; French; birdwatching; philosophy; art; walking and gardening.

Builth Wells Outdoor Bowling Club provides the local community with the facilities and equipment for the playing of lawn bowls. The main season is from mid April to mid September however social and other events are organised throughout the year including whist drives and bingo. Individuals need not join the club to play bowls with the option to pay and play available.

Powys CC closed the school in 2015. The principle of promoting education is now discharged by the provision of grants to former pupils or those who reside in the local area (or have resided in the local area at the discretion of the Trustees). The building is now let to the Radnorshire Arts & Crafts Foundation to generate an income, maintain the property and benefit the local community.

Provides grants to 1) Apprentices living in Brecon - Tools, 2) College students living in Brecon - Equipment, 3) University students living in Brecon - Books, 4) Schools & colleges located in Brecon for Brecon students. To under 25 year olds - Resident in Brecon Town.

Cylch Meithrin Pontrobert aims to provide high quality day care and early years education through the medium of Welsh to children from 2 years old to school age. The Cylch is registered with CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) to care for a maximum of 18 children at any one time.

Community activities - Charity fundraising events (shows, sales), dance lessons, fitness classes, choirs, pre-school group, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, young farmers meetings & dinners, annual village show. The hall is rented by villagers for weddings, parties and other private functions.

Compelementary therapies, friendship and support, lunch provided, transport provided.

The playgroup provides early learning facilities to children from 3 to 5 years of age in line with the new foundation phase.

We are a welsh medium playgroup that offers education and childcare for children from the age of two and a half.

Day to day management of small woodlands of which one has public access. Sales of products resulting from the management including woodfuel, green craft products and honey. Tree planting and wild flower cultivation within woodlands. Providing facilities to encourage wildlife and biodiversity development, eg nesting boxes, clear areas of invasive species and litter pick as required.

To offer to all choristers serving at Brecon Cathedral tuition on a musical instrument or singing lessons in addition to their choral training in the Cathedral choir.To secure the arrangements for the employment of a full time Organist and Director of Music and of a part time assistant, to have oversight of the choristers musical education as above.

Building a more inclusive future through community-integrated activities, volunteering and enterprise opportunities, education, and skills training for children and young people with learning disabilities, while supporting their families, carers, and siblings.

A School Fund used to enhance the education of pupils at Llanidloes High Schoolo

Tir-Y-Cwm Trust owns an isolated cottage in the Brecon Beacons. Moors, hills, forests and streams provide opportunities for personal and social development and training through experience of challenging outdoor activities. Brynamman Public Hall is a community oriented venue offering various local facilities, recreation, a volunteering program and employment in the village of Brynamman. The Public Hall is open 7 days a week, operating as a full time 2 screen cinema with a broad programme of films, theatre, snooker hall, and space for community groups such as the local Cylch / nursery. Est. 1926.

Parent Teacher Association for Llangattock Church in Wales School. Fundraising for monies to benfit the school and it's pupils.

The charity continues to work towards its objectives by the successful operation of Machynlleth and District Care Centre.
