PROVISION OF PROFESSIONALLY-LED, HIGH QUALITY AND MULTI-DISCIPLINARY THEATRE PRACTICE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 8 YEARS AND UP IN A SPARSELY POPULATED, RURAL AREA OF MID WALES. MPYT?S ACTIVITY IS BOTH NON-COMPETITIVE AND NON SELECTIVE, AND ENCOMPASSES WORKSHOPS, MASTER-CLASSES, VOCATIONAL TRIPS AND LIVE PERFORMANCES.

To support a goat breeding project and village goat improvement schemes in Uganda through advice, training, research and funding. To support the vocational training of vulnerable Ugandan young people through funding and supervision. To support environmental projects in Uganda and the UK. To promote awareness in the UK of world food and farming issues.

The Trust's primary purpose is to preserve, restore and sustain amenities of historical, architectural, and cultural heritage for the benefit of the inhabitants in the communities of Presteigne and Norton, and to provide facilities to improve social welfare, recreation and other leisure time occupations. This includes the adaption of the former church of St Andrew in Norton as a community.

The objectives are to apply the income, and all or such parts of the capital as the trustees think fit to charities that support the elderly or disadvantaged children.

To advance public education about energy efficiency and renewable energy; conserve the environment for public benefit through promoting energy saving and the use of renewable energy; relieve poverty through the efficient utilisation of energy; and to conduct research and development relating to the utilisation of energy conservation practices and renewable energy technologies, for public benefit

Provision of stimulating Day Support for older people with memory difficulties or dementia with opportunities to make life enhancing connections with others Provision of carer respite, in a supportive environment where their cared for is looked after for part of a day.Provision of information and support to people affected by memory difficulties and dementia working with other agencies

The charity holds leasehold on the Community Centre for the use of the inhabitants of the Community of Guilsfield and surrounding area in the County of Powys without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meeting, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO ADVANCE, PROMOTE OR CARRY OUT SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.

WE OFFER AFFORDABLE TRANSPORT TO THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED PEOPLE LIVING WITHIN A TEN MILE RADIUS OF YSTRADGYNLAIS.WE ARE ABLE TO TRAVEL THROUGHOUT WALES

The principle areas in which the charity has been involved are:Education in its broadest sense including academic research to benefit the local area.Pastoral activitiesMembers of the Order undertake voluntary work in the local communities and parishes. This includes the instruction of children in the Catholic faith, visitation of hospitals and the housebound etc.

Our purpose is to establish and manage a Heritage and Arts Centre, housed in the former Congregational Chapel in Llanwrtyd Wells. By doing so we shall be preserving a landmark building of historical, religious, cultural and social significance to the Welsh community and advancing the education of the public in the history, geography, culture, environment and other features of life in our area.

Provides pre-school educational activities for children under 4 according to the foundation phase curriculum

Provision of opportunities for the local community in the field of IT. Assisting local organisation to raise funds. Provision of social amenities for the elderly and disadvantaged. Other work for community benefit.

The Charity aims to bring the best performing and visual arts to Glasbury-on-Wye and other communities in rural Mid-Wales. In addition, it aims to enable communities to participate in the arts and experience a range of educational opportunities.

Christian education, supporting the work of local schools, employing a person to lead this work

The original purpose of the charity was to house 18 poor, elderly woman of Hay-on-Wye or the surrounding district. During 1973/74 extensive alterations were made to provide more modern accommodation for 12 women. Since 2002, with the conversion of a flat formerly used as warden accommodation, 13 women have been accommodated.

The provision of a suitable building and facilities to hold cultural & recreational activities in the community. Fundraising in order to maintain and improve the community centre and its facilities. Organising events for the benefit of the community.

Support of very sick and old poor priests so that they do not become a burden on others or the state.
