The Charity aims to bring the best performing and visual arts to Glasbury-on-Wye and other communities in rural Mid-Wales. In addition, it aims to enable communities to participate in the arts and experience a range of educational opportunities.

Impact Schools Team is committed to serve the schools of Powys (mainly North Powys). Our main aim is to communicate in a relevant and varied way the Christian message and values to both primary and secondary schools.

The original purpose of the charity was to house 18 poor, elderly woman of Hay-on-Wye or the surrounding district. During 1973/74 extensive alterations were made to provide more modern accommodation for 12 women. Since 2002, with the conversion of a flat formerly used as warden accommodation, 13 women have been accommodated.

Brecon Little Theatre promotes and supports people living in and around Brecon to take part in theatrical arts as participants and audience members. We are dedicated to keeping access to the performing arts affordable for members of the community for all backgrounds and levels of experience.

Knighton & Presteigne Foodbank operates in east Radnorshire and also crosses the border into Herefordshire and Shropshire. It helps families and individuals in crisis who are struggling with the growing problems caused by rising inflation, benefit changes and food and energy costs.

To collect and administer funds from street collections, public fairs, funeral donations, legacies and contributions and run fund raising public events. To apply income and capital to improve facilities and services of Brecon Hospital for the benefit of patients, former patients, staff and visitors where not provided by LHB/NHS.To provide these benefits to other activities assisting patients

Promoting Hall usage by a wide variety of groups and activities enhances community spirit and cohesion. Heartbeat Africa is a Christian charity with the primary goal of demonstrating the practical love of Christ to those in need, with a particular focus on East Africa. Our mission is to 'transform and empower' the lives of those who have often been forgotten or rejected by society.

Llanfair Caereinion Public Hall & Institute is a community resource for the whole town and surrounding villages. Activities inc. library, polling station, WI, Merched y Wawr, Homely Club, Historical Soc., indoor bowls, pilates, yoga, choir, Welsh, Young Farmers, dance, drama, recording studio, concerts, Llanfair carnival, Christmas lights, wedding receptions, funeral teas, parties, etc.

Support of very sick and old poor priests so that they do not become a burden on others or the state.

Run & Maintain Berriew Community Centre for the benefit of Berriew Primary School, user groups and local people.

Forden Pre-school Playgroup Association is an English-medium setting providing pre-school education. It meets in the community centre of the village of Forden between Welshpool and Montgomery. The Association runs sessions five mornings per week in term time, the Playgroup runs on Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri mornings and the Toddler Group on Thurs morning.

To offer grants and donations to groups and organisations in the Crickhowelll area for the overall benefit of the residents of Crickhowell Powys.

PROVISION OF COMMUNITY HALL/HUB FOR USE BY VOLUNTEER GROUPS

To provide a meeting place for local activity groups which include: Women's Institute, Y.F.C., Table Tennis Club, Short Mat Bowls and meetings of the Community Council ; it is used by local residents for birthday parties, receptions after funerals and other family functions. We hold an annual Christmas party for local people as well as fund-raising coffee mornings.

The Charity provides assistance towards the cost of education,or for specialist tools or equipment necessary to pursue a vocation, or to encourage or nurture a specific talent (ie musical instrument), for young people under 25 years old, living in the qualifying areas. Exceptional talent is encouraged and assistance is considered with courses that entail exceptional expenditure.

Identify and propagate old & rare varieties of apples & pears in English & Welsh border counties. Supply graftwood to people wishing to plant such trees. Publish books & CDs giving pomological advice. Encourage local primary school children to use a recently acquired site-a-gift for environmental educational purposes. Attend shows to disseminate information and give talks to various groups.

The Society is a voluntary organisation open to everyone.Its main purpose is to advance the enhancement, protection and conservation of the countryside and other amenities of the Brecon Beacons National Park for the benefit of the public, working with other public bodies in England and Wales.The Society also runs a series of guided walks throughout the year.

Village Hall which provides facilities for other groups and also to put on our own events such as music festivals, craft shows, Bingo nights, Pub nights, sporting events.

Parent Teacher Association for Llangattock Church in Wales School. Fundraising for monies to benfit the school and it's pupils.
