Argyle Community Church is an independent church which promotes the Christian faith and, for over 100 years, has conducted and supported various activities which bring benefit to our locality and world wide, through worship, prayer and practical means.

Worship services, bible studies, prayer meeting, pastoral care, youth meetings, visitations, outreach.

The Elders/Trustees are committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship at our church and become part of our community through prayer, scripture, music and sacrament. Worship and prayer; learning about the Gospel; and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus. Provision of pastoral care for people living in the areaMissionary and outreach work (including youth work)

Membership over 2000 with c 200 activity groups supported. Educational activities include education, arts & culture, science, sport/recreation, environmental study and support for single members. Members are involved in research projects. Facilities are provided for recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for members in the interests of their social welfare.

Barnabas Fellowship of Churches offers support to small or struggling churches. It provides support and encouragement to Church leaders

We are a pre-school which was formed in 1968.We care for children aged 2 to 4 years old from Monday to Friday during school term times only.The pre-school runs 5 days a week offering either 3, 5 or 6 hour sessions. 8:50-2:50, 9am-12 and 9am-2.

The promotion of the education of the general public in Reading and elsewhere in the performing arts, and the provision and maintenance of a theatre.

The church provides public Christian worship services on Sundays with a programme of events for children. Midweek small groups aim to encourage the growth of faith and discipleship. Our parent and toddler group, Mulberry Bush, is aimed at pre school age children. A range of activities take place for all ages.?

To promote protect and preserve the flora and fauna found in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire and within a radius of 10 milesTo provide financial assistance to the schools and other organisations in the villages of Goring-on-Thames, Streatley and the surrounding areas so that pupils and members can be taught and learn about this flora and fauna For the general education with regard to nature

CIRDIC runs two day Centres. One caters for the spritual emotional and practical needs of adults who are homeless or in poor accommodation by providing food, clothing and warmth as well as medical and practical advice and art therapy. The second Centre caters for women with special physical and emotional needs by providing warmth, food, companionship and advice.

To educate the public and advance Indian performing arts and world music and dance in the UK and overseas by the providing training in North Indian and South Indian music and dance; programming events; producing resource and teaching materials; providing examinations in all Indian performing arts and other world music subjects leading to accredited qualifications; running heritage projects.
