The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

In broad terms:- to advance the education of young people by helping with their physical education by the provision of facilities- including grant awards- to enable and encourage rowing and sculling; and- to help with the provision of facilities for recreation for those who need such facilities because of their youth, social or economic circumstances;focusing on rowing and sculling.

We run boxing training/fitness sessions for young people in the area.

The orchestra comprises mainly amateur players who play to a very high standard. It currently performs three concerts a year in the Anvil Concert Hall, Basingstoke. The concert programmes include mostly popular classical music.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL BY DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF PARENTS & OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL, BY ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN ARE PTA & SUB-CTTEE MEETINGS TO ORGANISE FUND AND NON-FUND RAISING EVENTS FOR PARENTS TEACHERS AND PUPILS.

Bradfield Village Hall CIO provides a Village Hall in the centre of Bradfield Southend for hire by the community, as well as a children's playground, Multi-Use Games Area, field and car park. The Village Hall serves the residents of the Parish of Bradfield and its immediate vicinity.

To help with the cost of education for young people between the age of 16 and 25

Based in Bracknell, the Ring Amateur Boxing Club serves the local community by helping people from all walks of life, age and ability to reap benefits to their physical and mental wellbeing through the provision of facilities and training for Boxing. The club also exists to advance the amateur sport of Boxing and to date has produced over 150 fighters to compete at national and commonwealth level.

Supports the growth of bible based churches in the South Central area of England through the encouragement of pastors, support for church plants, conferences and training of new bible teachers.

Operates a footcare clinic with subsidised fees for people aged over 60.

Activities are those related to providing horticultural education and horticultural therapy growing naturallygrown produce.

The Japanese Christian Fellowship (JCF) holds weekly services in Japanese in central London, as well as running several bible study groups on weekdays in local areas in London and beyond (e.g. in Reading). We have appointed a full time pastor in August 2024. He offers counselling and direction to Japanese Christians and enquirers. We network with other Japanese churches in the UK and Europe.

Each year Lincoln College Vacation Project runs two/three week long holidays for children living in the Oxford area who are involved with social services in order to give them a break from whatever difficulties they may be experiencing and an opportunity to try new things.
