The Charity is an amateur wind-band. The objective of the Charity is (as recorded in the constitution) is to advance the education of the public in the art of music and in particular band music by the presentation of concerts to which members of the public have access.

Share information and raise awareness and carry out training programmes involved in clinical, health and/or social care; supporting clinical, health and/or social care staff and research including making grants; work with industry, charities, universities, the health service and any other relevant bodies to assist the progress of scientific discoveries, clinical breakthroughs and new technologies.

To apply income to such charities for charitalbe purposes as the Trustees shall from time to time in their absolute discretion determine. These include to advance the evangelical christian faith and the christian religion.

Raising money by parents and friends of Waverley school for expenditure by the school.

The charity has been established for general charitable purposes, with particular emphasis on the protection of animals.

Friends of Pangbourne Primary School (FOPPS) is committed to organising fun events which improve community relations and provide sociable entertainment for parents and children and to raise much needed funds to benefit the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Village hall for hire to the local community.

School Disco, Christmas Fayre, Family Fun Day, Coffee Mornings, Circus, Film Nights.

Support local and national charities as required via manpower, or fundraising events,fundraising itself or raising awareness.Creation of community days in the local area,including health awareness day,blood pressure screenings and family fun days.

We continue to develop sponsorship and support a range of projects through our members. Our projects are located in both the UK and overseas.These operate in the areas of: 1. The prevention and relief of poverty.2. Economic/community benefit.3. Religious activities supporting communities.4. General charitable purposes.

In Berkshire we provide organised user led trips to i.e. allotments, shopping trips, garden centres, creative arts, activities and workshops. Volunteers remain beside adults throughout both the journey and activity. Access to a hub drop in facility with kitchen to provide refreshments and meals and co - ordinated support services, including access to online learning and training facilities.

EDUCATION & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THOSE PERSONS RETIRED OR IN SEMI-RETIREMENT IN AND AROUND READING

The PTA run a range of social events such as discos and quiz nights for the children in school and their parents with the aim of raising money for extra equipment required by the school and not covered by the budget.

We work to improve the lives of the homeless, vulnerable and those in need within our community. The term 'in need' encompasses all situations whether due to poverty, deprivation, mental illness, terminal illness, any other disability or general vulnerability. We aim to generate income to enable us to assist where we can, responding directly or acting as a catalyst in working with other bodies.

(i) To promote, and encourage improvement in, agriculture and horticulture and the improvement, protection and preservation of the countryside of the Central Region of England;(ii) To advance education in agriculture and horticulture

To give financial support to kidney patients, where necessary and always with complete confidentiality.To purchase equipment for the benefit and/or treatment of kidney patients.To procure and to disseminate information concerning kidney diseases and treatments.To arrange public meetings

Charitable arm of the school

Girlguiding UK enables girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world. Earley District run units locally to achieve this accomodating girls from the age of 5 to 65. A variety of activities are run including crafts, adventurous activities, singing, outdoor camping and opportunities to travel and stay away. Topics include the world, the environment.

School Fundraising

Provides facilities for young and elderly people to hold meetings and functions, children parties, rehearsals

to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including the presentation of public concerts with a large male chorus or smaller groups

The type of work we are involved in is mission work, supporting the preaching of the gospel in the UK and other places like India. Other work includes supporting a children's home in India.

To encourage, promote and assist in the development of a group of friends in order to further the charitable purposes and encourage the development of the facilities of the Chiltern Open Air Museum.Engage in, support and help co-ordinate research, publishing, education, advertising, fundraising and other activities for the furtherance of the objectives
