Sea Cadets is different from school. There's a lot of learning, but it's done through activities on and off the water and our volunteers lead by example.It's also different from home, a break from screens and being cooped up inside. Our platform is built on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy, which inspires our work and commitment to supporting young people today.

The Club organises lectures, workshops and field activities relating to wild birds and their conservation. It manages surveys and recording and prepares an annual report on the birds of Berkshire. It maintains the Berkshire county database of bird records and makes the data available to bona fide researchers and other interested parties. It raises funds and gives grants for bird conservation.

APO is an Orchestra performing three concerts a year plus informal chamber music. Known for its innovative scheme such as the Concert Virgin scheme where by people who have not been to a live classical concert before can come for free. APO initiates education programmes to help children learn about classical music.

Club F.O.D Club F.O.D has developed four distinct areas that further our charitable purpose:Club F.O.D at The BlagraveClub F.O.D at HomeClub F.O.D in the communityFund Of Diversity Based in Reading, our aim is to prevent social isolation for LGBT people and provide dedicated safe spaces for all members of the LGBT spectrum.

Provides educational, social and leisure activities for children aged 8- 12 years (school years 4-7) on Friday evenings, term time only.

The charity is considered the oldest musical institution in Reading, Berkshire with a history that dates to 1899. It has always aimed to support any member of the public, including young people, who can play a brass band instrument and wishes to join. Particularly those members of the public who demonstrate a positive attitude, approach, and team commitment to the art of brass band music making.

Organising fundraising activities to raise money for Willow Bank Infant School

We welcome young musicians to join our orchestra, Through the balanced, programming of repertoire, and the weekly rehearsal of musicians, with professional coaching, we prepare works to a performance standard and provide performance opportunities termly. We do not have a geographic constraint despite being named as in 'Reading' - we welcome members from as far as they are willing to travel.

The management committee provide this state-of-the-art community resource to promote the physical, social, cultural and economic betterment of local community.Activities provided particularly for ladies and elderly to promote social inclusion. Venue available for hire for social and cultural events.

As the PTA for Grazeley Parochial Primary School we are committed to raising much needed funds, which are used to purchase items and activities which benefit the whole school. Students have greater opportunity to extend and reinforce their learning on the curriculum.

The benefit of the poor and needy living in the territorial area of the Rotary Club of Henley-On-Thames or other charitable institutions.

Engaging with a wide variety of community and voluntary groups as well as statutory organisations on issues of common concern. Promoting good relations between diverse communities.

The choir rehearses on a weekly basis and is constantly preparing for concerts and events. There is a calendar of events produced on a rolling basis at least one year in advance. Some concerts provide charitable donations.

Montessori Education, School Resources and Support, Educational Training programmes for teachers, parents, pupils and the wider community.

Fund-raising and community involvement

Our charity main objective is to raise funds to support the school. By supporting the school we work with the school to fund items that cannot be funded from the schools budget.We hold our activities in the school and its grounds. Activities include Bake sales, Disco's, Fun days and Adult evening events.

A hospital broadcasting service ("Hospital Radio Reading") for the Royal Berkshire Hospital. Patients are visited in their wards and can phone in free from the bedside to take part in programmes. A live and interactive service of record requests, football commentaries & other entertainment (45 hours per week) is augmented by a non-stop automated service of music, news & information at other times.
