We provide assistance for phase 4 rehabilitation exercise classes for Heart patients by assisting instructors to gain BACR Qualifications which enables them to run the classes. We also provide exercise equipment for these classes.

We offer free legal advice from UK qualified practitioners for underprivileged/financially needy people. Work-ferences, Youth talent show, Free hot meals for street people. Nutritious pre-pack food for underprivileged school children. Enhancing Life Synergy, this includes sessions, talks and workshops that inspire people to be global citizens and volunteer their services to serve others.

The inclusion of disabled persons throughout the South East region in sport, by encouraging and facilitating them in powerchair football and assisting in the provision of facilities for non-competitive and competitive sport, to improve their conditions of life, and assist in their integration into society.

We offer children and young people an opportunity to take part in a youth marching band. We teach all the basics that are needed to take part. Our main aim is to build the confidence of children and young people.

Collecting, preserving, conserving, displaying and making available to enquirers the archives records, printed material, regalia jewels and artefacts of freemasonry and the continued running of a library and museum for the benefit of the general public.

Union Christian Fellowship hold worship meetings and annual conventions for the UK Malayalee and other communities.Through the provision of grants we support people subject to poverty prioritising the uplifting of society, underprivileged or marginalised people and education. There are no geographical restrictions. A regular beneficiary of these activities is Michael & John Job Centre, India.

The charity was established by a trust deed on January 1964 with the objective of raising funds for rendering relief and assistance to poor and distressed Freemasons and their dependents, and for any charitable (including educational) object which would in law be a good charitable gift.

Maintenance and exhibition of the steam launch Consuta

Our activities include a programme of garden visits, lectures and talks; research to produce a Gazetteer ofBerkshire parks and gardens; advice to those involved in the management of such sites; and acting asa statutory consultee on planning applications that impact on Berkshire's historically significant designed landscapes.

Reading Cygnets is a swimming club for people with learning disabilities. Training sessions operate for 1 hour on Sundays for those who can already swim. We are not able to teach beginners at present. The Club provides opportunities for our swimmers to take part in competitive galas with other similar clubs and in Special Olympics events at home and abroad.

SLIA helped raise funds for the Crisis Aid Project towards the building of schools and mosques in Sierra Leone. Foster and promote the teaching of Islamic Religion

Raise funds to help support school activities

RAN is a membership organization which supports other charities providing information, advice and advocacy in Reading. It works to improve the quality of these services, make it easier for people to get the services they need, and aims to be a focal point for these services. In particular it sets, maintains and supports organisations to achieve its Quality Standard and runs regular Advice Forums.

To promote the study and public dissemination of the culture, religion, art, language, life and death in ancient Egypt.

SUPPORT FOR READING MUSEUM

Our Parent Staff Association works with our school, parents, pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities, such as Summer, Easter and Christmas Fairs, Mothers' and Grandparent's Teas, Raffles and School Discos. These events help to build the school community, break down barriers and help fundraise. We use the funds to purchase a range of resources for our school.

Berkshire Record Society is an educational charity which promotes research into and the publication of historic records relating to the Royal County of Berkshire (including that part of the historic county transferred to Oxfordshire in 1974)

Advance, maintain and promote Christian faith, maximising the relief of poverty and to advance education and for such other charitable purposes beneficial to the community.

We are a Christian organisation whose objectives and activities are to relieve need or hardship in Reading. Our work is operated in three specific parts:1. Readifood - acting as Reading's foodbank2. Street work - feeding rough sleepers 3. Bed for the Night (B4N) - co-ordinating a winter night shelter with 7 local churches
