The Cholsey Silver Band functions to offer a service to both the players of the band and also the local community. The junior and senior bands meet once a week to practice and to train new players. The bands also perform at local events (eg Remembrance service, Mayor's parade and local fetes) as well as concerts throughout the year.

To provide financial and other support to the Anglican Chaplain appointed to, but not employed by, the University of Reading.

VoxThrive uses the power of music to maintain young people's health and wellbeing throughout the Thames Valley. We put on workshops in partnership with other local youth organisations focussing on giving young people the tools to use creativity to help deal with life's challenges. These workshops could involve songwriting, confidence building, team work etc.
