We are a parent run charity whose aim is to support families of hearing impaired children. We run activity days, parties, trips and support parents in learning sign language.

Inspire has two key objectives:1) To INSPIRE young people to maximise their potential in order to produce ?work-ready? young people through work related challenges and events, designed in partnership with business.2) To SUPPORT students in financial need to be able to undertake and complete their studies, through fundraising and business sponsorship.

Bringing local news and activities to blind and partially sighted people

VIA DESIGN was established to empower disadvantaged and marginalised people and communities through facilitating business development, including training in design, crafts and production skills, which provide the potential for income generation and business skills with which to ensure sustainability.

The CECA operates and manages two squash courts in Sonning Common. The surplus income is donated at four monthly intervals by the management committee to individuals and organisations with the aim of promoting social and educational development.

The prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship by providing grants/services to individuals in need & by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training and healthcare projects. The relief of unemployment for the benefit of the public in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment

The Charity raises funs through* Dinner and Dance functions.* Cake baking and selling at individuals work places.* Donations.* Sundry activities.These funds are used for * Eye camps in India, mainly in Mumbai in this financial year.

Monthly Healing Clinic, Blogging,social media to provide information and generate awareness about the benefits of healing to the general public and the medical establishment - Monthly Events in the Healing Centres to raise money for medical research - Attending third party events in CAM, healthcare and medical technology - Fundraising through crowdfunding via websites

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE STUDY, PRACTICE AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART OF MUSIC AND THE ALLIED ARTS, IN PARTICULAR THOSE OF THE MEDIEVAL, RENAISSANCE AND BAROQUE PERIODS ('EARLY MUSIC').

Regular public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching; Baptism, as defined in the ChurchÔÇÖs ÔÇÿDeclaration of PrincipleÔÇÖ and under Beliefs; Education and training for Christian and community service: Pastoral and welfare care to individuals and groups; Supporting/encouraging charitable social actionsEncouraging relationships with local Churches and other Christians.

1. Provision of special benefits at St John's Primary School, Reading, for which provision is not made from public funds;2. Promotion of religious education of the pupils of St John's School in accordance with the doctrines of the Church of England; and3. Promotion of religious education and other charitable work of the C of E in the Parish of Reading St John the Evangelist and St Stephen.

Christ Church Centre is a community facility which is available to local residents for cultural and social events and activities. In September 2013 The Trustees negotiated with The Local Education Authority for the local school to use the centre for additional educational needs.

Derives income from cash on bank deposit and in National Savings. Makes donations to other charites

Some of the activities of CET are as follows:1. runs a weekend supplementary school2. runs Citizenship classes 3. runs parental education awareness classes4. organises debates & speech competitions5. provides career advice6. helps children to connect with employers7. run a girls youth group (13 - 19 years)

Meetings held monthly (Sep - Jun) with guest speaker.Separate Beginner section for all ages (talk, observing and advice).Regular observing sessions from a dark site.Visits arranged to sites of astronomical interest.

Training of drivers and observers to an advanced standard

To promote the art of playing the organ. To encourage the public to appreciate organ music. To provide help and advice to church musicians. To enable organists to meet each other. To help young people with playing the organ - give access & teaching & experience. To broaden the experience of players & students.
