Reading Rep Theatre exists to ensure that everyone in Reading, and especially those with least opportunity, can access high quality theatre and culture. Our mission is to strengthen the communities we serve by making work with, by and for Reading.

Get Berkshire Active is the Active Partnership for Berkshire, our remit is to champion and inspire sport and physical activity encouraging more people to become more active. We work throughout the county of Berkshire with our 6 Unitary Authorities, schools, youth groups, sports clubs, public, private and charitable leisure providers, charities, social enterprises and other bodies.

The Charity seeks to secure donations, legacies, and sponsorship to enhance the care and treatment available to patients at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. Through the provision of grants they support projects which improve patient care and the hospital environment, medical equipment, health education, staff development and welfare, and that fall outside of the remit of the NHS.

To aid and improve for the public benefit the condition of those living with multiple sclerosis by any lawful means including the following1. By bringing together persons living with multiple sclerosis 2. By providing guidance and moral and practical support for persons living with multiple sclerosis; 3. By providing therapy including Oxygen Therapy for persons living with multiple sclerosis

Hemdean House School is an Independent Day School that provides a high standard of education for children between the ages of rising 3 and 11, and high quality wrap-around care before and after school, and during the holidays.

To advance education for the public benefit in the performing and creative arts. We make high-quality performing arts education more accessible and inclusive for children aged 3-13 years, young people aged 14-24 years and adults in our community. We offer classes in theatre, dance and cheerleading and via the Artemis sixth form college.

The overarching aim is to improve lives in our local communities. This is achieved through the provision of support and services to local charities, groups and communities across Bracknell Forest, Wokingham Borough and surrounding areas. Advocating for and representing the VCS and encouraging and enabling partnerships and collaborative working also supports this aim.

Wycliffe Baptist Church aims to promote the Christian faith in east Reading, where its buildings are located, and more widely throughout the UK and internationally. As an integral part of this, it aims to provide resources for the benefit of the community locally through organising a range of appropriate activities and by the provision of facilities for community activities.

The Trust supports a broad range of charitable causes in and around Berkshire including education, sport, the arts, community, churches and faith groups, social welfare and medical support, agriculture and conservation, and the ArmedForces.

The promotion and support of voluntary action in the greater Reading area.

The aim of the charity is to provide good quality cleaned and ironed clothes and other essential items such as bedding free of charge to anyone who is in need. The clothes are donated from the general public and retailers and then sorted, washed and ironed at our warehouse ready to be delivered /collected by social services, other health professionals or our clients.

The Cadbury Foundation was set up in 1935 and continues to invest in local communities throughout the UK and Ireland. Our focus lies in skills and employability, healthy lifestyles and the passions of our employees, supporting both local and national partners which are close to our operations.

The Refugee Support Group is a charity that assists needy refugees and asylum seekers resident in Reading in order to help them overcome the challenges they face. The groups services include: offering advice and information; outreach, organizes recreational events; provision of material and practical support. The group is also involved in advocacy to raise awareness about its work.

Promoting christianity by enabling the provision of regular acts of worship in local churches that are open to all. Facilitating the provision of sacred spaces for prayer, contemplation and activities within local communities. Encouraging christian teaching. We provide workshops and 1:1 support to those with young onset dementia. Examples of our workshops are: choir, cycling, running, katakanuing, art, walking, gardening and drama. 1:1 support is tailored to the interests of the individual e.g. shopping, bowling, swimming, dog walking. We also provide an education course to those with young onset dementia and their family and carers.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE HOLY QUR'AN AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY IN READING AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS.

The Charity was registered in June 2019 but had not commenced operation by 31 December 2019. The intention is that the charity will pursue its objects in advancing the Christian faith in accordance with its Doctrinal Basis of Faith and other consistent charitable purposes in Reading, elsewhere in the UK and overseas. It will engage in worship, teaching and providing practical social facilities.
