Our ethos is to enrich communities by supporting children, young people and families. Our aim is to invest within the Whitley community at the Al Majid Centre and improve welfare services for this region. We aim to give children and young people a better, brighter start in life by providing them with opportunities to learn, play, feel safe and improve their education, health and well-being.

Enhancing Life Skills through Horse Skills

The Mustard Tree is a Reading based charity supporting people who are often overlooked or marginalised. Working through partnerships with local communities, charities and statutory organisations we innovate and develop projects that reduce health and social inequalities, increase community engagement, and give a voice to the unheard.

Information and Signposting, Activity Clubs, Tea Club, Weekly Pop-In, Toenail Cutting Service, Befriending, gardening, shopping and Campaigning on issues that affect people in later life.

1. Arranged a football tournament in Queens Avenue ground in Aldershot Army Garrison. Nepalese teams from other European countries also took part. 2. Arranged Nepali Mela (Nepalese culture, costume and ethnic traditional displays) at Kempton Park Race course.3. Arranged Nepalese New Year (Lhochhar) celebration and religious puja at Aldershot, Hampshire.4. Help provided to needy people

Provision of educational facilities for All Hallows Catholic School, Farnham, Surrey.

Provides affordable counselling services.

SMART WORKS READING IS A UK CHARITY THAT IS FOCUSED ON HELPING OUT-OF-WORK WOMEN ON LOW INCOMES GET BACK INTO THE WORKFORCE. WE PROVIDE INTERVIEW COACHING, HIGH QUALITY INTERVIEW CLOTHES AND STYLING ADVICE. WE HELP WOMEN TO FEEL CONFIDENT, LOOK FABULOUS, SUCCEED AT THEIR JOB INTERVIEW AND MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIFE.

Reading Community Learning Centre offers classes, support and other opportunities for educationally disadvantaged and socially isolated women from Reading's diverse minority ethnic communities. Our emphasis is on finding ways into learning for even the most tentative and least confident of learners. RCLC also provides development opportunities for under-5s through an onsite creche.

Sheltered housing for retired or soon to be retired

To provide accommodation for persons with autism, both for respite care and supported living.To provide funds as grants, whenever possible, to aid families with autistic children in need.

We offer free adult education to anyone aged 18 or older who is experiencing problems with their mental or emotional health and their supporters. Our workshops foster understanding of different conditions, uncover inner strengths and skills and show how to apply these to live a fulfilling life. We offer an additional specific programme of courses for 16 to 25 year olds.

PROVIDES THE INTEREST AND WELFARE OF DEAF AND HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE. PROVIDES ACTIVITES AND FACILITIES TAILORED TO THE VARIED NEEDS OF HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE IN THE AREA/GROUPS. INCLUDES YOUNG PEOPLE, ADULTS, SENIOR CITIZENS, FAMILIES. COLLECTS AND DISSEMINATES INFORMATION TO THE DEAF COMMUNITY AND HEARING IMPAIRED.

Public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching; believers' baptism; celebrating the Lord's Supper; evangelism and mission; nurture and growth of Christian disciples, including young people; education and training for Christian and community service; pastoral care; supporting and encouraging charitable social action; encouraging relationships with Baptists and other Christians.
