We help young children and their families who face challenging circumstances by supporting learning and life skills from early years through primary education, in Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Lothian and Fife; these are our local communities. We fund smaller charities, primary schools and organisations focussed on children and young people up to the age of 12.

To rescue, treat, rehabilitate and release wildlife, in reponse to calls from the public, Police Forces, RSPCA, Veterinary practices and other wildlife agencies.To educate the public and raise awareness in the needs and care of British Wildlife

We are an active congregation of 140 members from a wide range of backgrounds. On Sunday mornings and evenings we meet for worship. We have a thriving Junior Church, with ages from 0 to 18, and share with other East Reading churches in joint youth activities. Small groups for fellowship, Bible study, prayer and church life development meet regularly,and social action projects.

A christian organisation centred on the love of God for mankind and encouraging the practice of God's love within communities.

Supports students by organising a variety of enriching activities, with a strong emphasis on educational visits. These provide students with hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom, enhancing their understanding of key subjects through real-world exploration. The charity raises funds to cover transportation including Minibus, extracurricular programs and workshops.

Reading Community Learning Centre offers classes, support and other opportunities for educationally disadvantaged and socially isolated women from Reading's diverse minority ethnic communities. Our emphasis is on finding ways into learning for even the most tentative and least confident of learners. RCLC also provides development opportunities for under-5s through an onsite creche.

Our activities are Religious, we also help the needy for poverty alleviation. We visit the aged and also organise youth programmes for the youth in the Reading community.

We are a Church of England church in Reading who have a particular heart for seeing young people transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ.

Headway Thames Valley aims to increase understanding of brain injury and its consequences using individual programmes to enhance cognitive, physical and personal development and encouraging the return to as normal a life as possible. Holidays, meet ups, support groups. courses & trips improve social and community re-integration and provide support, advice and respite to the families and carers.

Berkshire County Sports Club promotes community participation in healthy recreation through the provision of facilities for a range of sports. These include football and rugby pitches, cricket, tennis and squash courts, and an all-weather hockey/football pitch. All are available for use by members of the Club, as well as other sports clubs, schools, community organisations and the general public.

CCB is an independent rural community development charity. Our vision is for all communities in Berkshire to be strong, resilient, sustainable and able to take control of their own futures. Our purpose is to inspire action at a community level that reduces poverty & rural disadvantage, improves rural health & wellbeing and increases digital inclusion & social connectedness.

ABC to read aims to advance the education of the public in Berkshire by:a) providing tuition and support to help children in Berkshire schools to overcome reading difficulties thereby promoting self-confidence.b) providing workshops, training and support to parents and guardians of such children so that they may gain greater confidence in assisting the children to read.

The award of scholarships, bursaries or maintenance allowances.The provision of items, services and facilities at three specified Schools in Reading.The provision of financial assistance to young men and women from Reading, Wokingham or Bray to support them in training for a trade or vocation or entering into marriage.

THE CHARITY OWNS AND OPERATES BOATS TO FACILITATE THESE ACTIVITIES. IT IS LARGELY SERVED BY VOLUNTEERS.
