The Friends of Park Lane aim to engage in activities which support the school and advance the educational, social or leisure interests of the children attending it and to engage in fundraising activities with the objective of providing items not covered by the schools normal budget.

Sustainable Wales promotes and encourages sustainable development through practical projects, consultancy services, information, advice and support. SW also create resources and publications, offer project managment, training, facilitation and group development.

The organisation provides recreational facilities for children and young people in the community of Penderyn and neighboring communities to encourage participation, promote their physical development and education.

Friends of Ysgol Bryn Castell aim to advance the education of the pupils at YBC by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities (not required to be provided by the LEA) for education.Ysgol Bryn Castell is a 7-19 Special School for children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, including a specialist provision for children with Autism at the school.

The WI provides a service to the community. All women can join. It campaigns on issues which will benefit the local community.

Tafflab makes grants to enterprise students who wish to start up their own businesses in disadvantaged communities. Applicants currently attend and are recommended by partner colleges. Tafflab interview to confirm eligibility, work with the Enterprise Champions employed by the colleges and provide mentoring by RSA Fellows. Regular meetings between mentors, mentees and champions confirm progress

The charity provides receation grounds for the local inhabitants to used for sporting and recreational pursuits.

TO PROVIDE A LOCAL LIBARY WITH I.T FACILITIES. THE HUB WAS SET UP AFTER THE REMOVAL OF THE LOCAL LIBRARY. THE FREE I.T FACILITIES ARE USED BY JOB SEEKERS TO SIGN ON AND SEEK EMPLOYMENT.HELPING ORGANISATIONS ARE OFFERED A FREE OUT REACH FACILITY TO SEE CLIENTS. RESIDENTS CAN GET RECYCLING BAGS AND LOCAL INFORMATION, SUCH AS COMMUNITY COUNTY COUNCIL MINUTES. WE HELP TO DEVELOP NEW COMMUNITY GROUPS.
