The charity's duties and obligations are set out in the Parochial Church Councils (Powers) Measure 1956 (as amended). The PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the Rector and Assistant Clergy in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

CECCC is a non-profit making, non-political and non-religious body. It comprises of 4 sections: Chinese Music, Martial Arts, Culture, and the Chinese School. The aim of our centre is to help our members to appreciate their Chinese origin, virtue and righteousness. We promote Chinese Arts, Culture, music, dancing and martial arts. We also help our members to integrate with the local society.

The charity operates for the furtherance of these objects through the playing of, and coaching in, associationfootball. As a FA Charter Development Club, partnered with Bolton Wanderers FC, we are offering organised football toyoungsters, both boys and girls from 5 years of age up to 18 years of age.

the charity supports local people who suffer from enduring mental health problems, by recruiting volunteers who spend time with the clients, helping them gain confidence to reintegrate into the community; we train and supervise the volunteers.We work with the statutory services and families of the clients.

Springboard is a charity set up for, and by, people with dementia and their carers. The group meets weekly and accepts all ages, but the majority of members are aged 65 and over. There are regular organised trips, recreation and leisure activities, as well as educational talks, support, presentations and promotional events. A 7 day helpline offers advice and support to members.

Provision of services and facilities for education purposes in accordance with the Trust Deed

The charity operates out of the Rollercity Centre in Rochdale. Current activities provided include skating sessions to the public for all age groups , skate school for all age groups to learn to skate, of personal 1:1 skate tuition , dance on skates training and skate fitness sessions.

Provision of health services, health information and support, health promotion and interpreting service; drop in service, Chinese GP drop in surgery, health activities for older people, foot screening service,telephone information and help service, drop in service and health checks. General information and support service.

Provision of short term holidays for children in need who live in the Rochdale Borough area. The holidays are provided at the Moorland Home.

Empowerment and support of individuals to realise and enhance their earnings potential to ensure sustainable self sufficiency, by means of educational events, networking events, one-to-one advice, mentoring and interest-free loans
