The ambition of 'Mother and Child Globalcare' charity is to improve the lifestyle of poor farmers worldwide. During the current year this was achieved by setting up a free eye camp to help patients suffering with a cataract eye condition. An eye camp clinic was set up in the village of Dundee (Pakistan) which aimed to help the patients to see properly again.

We have held film nights. We have 2 collections a year from Bags2School. We sell Christmas calendars and hold many raffles.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the sport of fencing providing facilities, instruction, coaching and by the taking part in and organisation of matches and competitions and in any other way.

To Advance the Education of persons in the arts, particularly digital media and performing arts. Working with local community groups, Colleges and individual artists to develop skills/training in community drama, video and television production as a pathway to further and higher education and apprenticeships. Pakistan Welfare Association (Rochdale) provides social, economic, and other support to actively develop and promote the welfare and well-being of primarily the Pakistani or British Pakistani community of Rochdale and other communities who might benefit from such support in furtherance of creating a sustainable harmonious society.

femSTEM promotes the education in STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Maths) for girls and young women under the age of 19 years in the UK (based in the North West of England), in particular those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by delivering school-based events to provide information, guidance and opportunities to connect with relevant networks and women role models.
