We assist renal patients and their carers in the Sheffield and surrounding area by giving small/medium grants to those having specific financial needs. Kidney research grants are given to Northern General Hospital, the main treatment centre for our members.

The Trust seeks to promote schemes of lasting benefit to people in mining and former mining communities in the Yorkshire area within the objects of the CISWO charity and which may be determined from time to time by the CISWO charity.

Our activities include fundraising for the bursary scheme we offer to women studying or aiming to study in non-traditional areas for women. Bursaries are granted across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. We also deliver outreach and support to organisations helping to promote STEM subjects and careers to girls and women in South yorkshire

The main source of income remains rent receivable.

To provide financial relief for clergy and their families in that part of the West Riding of Yorkshire that was in the Diocese of Sheffield

The project began in 2004 with the buying of land and working with local people to draw up plans to build a properly resourced and equipped school to replace a half finished room where young girls were being ?educated? with no furniture, nor resources or equipment sitting on an earth floor.

The advancement of the musical education of young people. To increase their knowledge, understanding and love of music, their ability to develop musically and to give them the opportunity to perform to the most advanced standard of which they are capable.

Peak District Mosaic organise different activities in the Peak District National Park; group walks, cycling, visits to historical sites, different places of interest to develop knowledge and enjoy the countryside. We provide training to Community Champions about the history of the national park and encourage them to access, explore and enjoy by arranging group visits for their families and friends

To promote urban regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation in Sheffield and the surrounding area assisting in the preservation of buildings or sites of historic or architectural importance, and in protecting the built environment. In particular Portland Works (a Grade 2* listed building).

Make grants to persons of Rotherham and surrounding area who are in need, hardship or distress and are suffering from medical problems and would benefit from financial assistance to help in their recovery.

TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (B) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.

We are a traditional brass band operating in Maltby and the surrounding areas. We have a busy schedule of concerts and contests throughout the year. We also run a training band where we offer free tuition to children and adults who would like to learn to play a brass instrument.

To assist young people aged between 10 and 25 years who are resident in, or near the Diocese of Sheffield, to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities, so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved. The Trusts aim is to provide an outdoor centre for use by the general community, including the disadvantaged, disabled or deprived youngsters, to experience the challenge of living and working together in a really stimulating environment. Crookstone Barn provides dormitory accommodation for up to 23.It has a spacious common room, large kitchen, showers and toilets and all amenities.

Preaching of the Word of God , Practice of Christianity There literature provided which deals with the teaching of Jesus Christ as the Lord our saviourThe educational programs are more to do with teaching to children Sunday school on Biblical basis.

Income from the endowment is used to support a visiting professorship, financial support and funding for residential experiences for University of Sheffield students and graduates meeting certain criteria. Additional activities will include a lecture series and one-day colloquium.

The Community Partnership is quite busy and still woring towards improving the quality of life in our community. The Partnership support local groups who use our community hall and we use it for our quarterly open meetings that give a platform for all local groups along with training and events. We hold a very well attended town gala annually which is always a great success.

St Agatha's Trust aims to help community-based projects that are in some way linked with a church or Christian organisation, in the Diocese of Sheffield.The Trust has been set up by the Diocese of Sheffield to encourage local churches to develop or become involved in community-based projects. However, projects that have no Christian or Church link may still be considered.

1) To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statement of beliefs in the UK or the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit. 2) To relieve sickness & financial hardship & to promote & preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind, provision of counselling & support in parts of UK. 3) To advance education in such way in the UK & the world.
