Barnsley Community Build aims and objectives are to support the community in developing skills and knowledge that will assist them in securing full time education or employment.

For any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the National Health Service wholly or mainly for the services provided within the Rotherham Health Community

The activities of the charity consist of caring for members of the Congregation, who do its charitable work, supporting such work, and donating monies to assist the Congregation's overseas charitable activities

To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Rawmarsh by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation, and to relieve unemployment, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

The Trust provides and maintains gospel halls for the religious activities of Christians, often referred to as 'Brethren'. The Trust also holds public outreach days and distributes nutritious food packages and gospel literature to homeless and needy persons

We provide support to those affected by asbestos related conditions, across Yorkshire, Humberside and North Nottinghamshire, to those diagnosed plus their families. Every year, our charity receives over 300 new referrals and we help each individual access (on average) over £24,000 income, plus providing emotional and bereavement support and organising social groups and events for our service users

JADE Provides a range of services for young people and the wider community that support personal development, education and safeguard young people, helping them to develop the skills needed to grow and achieve. The area of Rother Valley South where JADE operates is a former mining community with a number of indicators of deprivation that affect young people and the wider community.

As a parish under the Redeemed Christian Church of God - Worldwide, we are established to affect our community especially Rotherham and its environs with the great love of God as demonstrated by Jesus Christ. We are particularly interested in seeing God set people free from all abuse, oppressions and misconceptions. We will work with individuals & other charities to achieve this.

To provide a range of services at our prison sites and in the community, offering emotional support, advice and guidance, rehabilitation and family time. Enabling offenders and their loved ones to sustain meaningful relationships to benefit them during time in custody and beyond.

Acts of public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer & contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick & the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity via sermons, courses & small groups. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events & meetings. Promoting the whole mission of the Church via provision of Coffee Mornings. Baptisms, weddings, funerals.

The Circuit produces a quarterly preaching plan to ensure regular acts of worship take place at the 10 Methodist Churches and 1 Local Ecumenical Partnership in its geographical area. These are open to all people without charge.

Greentop Community Circus Centre is a dedicated centre for circus arts with over 25 years experience serving the North of England with professional circus arts training, youth circus, specialist workshops and events for communities and schools. Our mission is to promote excellent circus that inspires young people, strengthens communities and develops artists.

The objects of The Eagles Foundation are to advance the education and the physical health and well being ofpeople within South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire by providing opportunities for them toparticipate in a range of activities, in order to develop their educational, social, physical and mental wellbeing.

Public benefit through the advancement of the Christian Faith and the extension of the Kingdom of God. This is achieved through various outreach groups providing help, friendship, care and support to the whole spectrum of age groups.There are also substantial links with other like-minded groups both in the UK and overseas.

We provide Chaplaincy and Listening Services for people in workplaces and community situations of all descriptions across South Yorkshire, particularly but not exclusively supporting people through the difficulties of life situations. We also deliver training on various aspects of listening and support to volunteers, charities and other organisations.

The Centre will be used to address the inter-generational community cohesion, social health andwell-being of young people, families, and older people; provide direct access and/or pointers to essentialservices; provide recreational, educational and personal development opportunities for the whole of thewider community of Brinsworth Parish.

Saving lives in wild and remote places

Grants are made to other charitable or appropriately constituted bodies in response to specific written applications. Policy favours, but not exclusively, initiatives that benefit communities that are linked in some reasonably direct way to the Fitzwilliam Estates in Cambridgeshire and Yorkshire or the Naylor-Leyland Estate near Ruthin. Grants tend to be one off, not merely for annual expenses.

Yorkshire Youth and Music is a Charity offering young people the opportuntity to learn about, and make, music. Our primary aim is to encourage access for and participation by young people in the region who have no other opportunity. We do this by working in partnership across Yorkshire, using and training inspirational musicians.
