The objectives of the society shall be to advance, improve and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art of choral music in all its aspects, including the presentation of public choral concerts, and other similar charitable purposes as may be decided upon by the committee from time to time.

The Charity raises funds from our own geographical area by means of door-to-door collections, Santa Sleigh and static at supermarkets. Selling and delivering spring and autumn bedding plants and running bookstalls, plus some smaller activities and accept donations. We give grants to cases of need in our own area, both individuals and organisations and support some national and international appeal

The organisation chooses musicals , plays and concerts to perform by selecting a varied range of topical day to day issues that are performed / represented . It encourages the general public to participate in the above and to be part of viewing audiences .

Sudden Sam provides support to those impacted by sudden death. We provide emotional support (therapy and counselling), financial support (grants for costs associated with a sudden death), practical awareness (guidance on the procedure following a sudden death), and community awareness (increasing understanding of the impact).

Liverpool Brass Band aims to maintain, improve and advance the education of the public and its members through the promotion of education and appreciation of good music of all kinds amongst persons of all ages.

PTA FOR TRINITY ST PETERS SCHOOL IN FORMBY

The Southport Saviours Foundation's aim is to not only increase the coverage with more defibrillators, but to educate & raise awareness through first aid training.

The Crossing Point seeks to help restore those whose lives have been impacted by domestic abuse and see them living in hope. Using a holistic approach, we provide personalised support, group recovery programmes and outreach. We are working to see the generational cycle of domestic abuse broken, raising awareness through teaching and training within communities.

Helping families and individuals who have life changing ailments and disabilities.

KANZI-KIBERA FRIENDS LTD Supports a number of young boys and girls from Kibera, in Nairobi, to gain access to education in local schools. We do this by paying their school fees, running a feeding program for children who subsist on one meal a day, usually the one provided at school, and by training teachers.We have also sent containers full of school equipment and other educational materials.

Our work in local communities, on Merseyside, is directed towards those suffering poverty and social exclusion. Priority is given to adult educational work, community development and health-related initiatives.

The objectives of the charity are to promote the education of persons of the Christian Faith in theology and social sciences both theoretical and practical having regard to the principles of Josephine Butler

Educational support of pupils of Farnborough Road Junior School

To collect monies from investments and give -£1000 minimum to St Philip and St Paul with Wesley Church per annum and other charitable donations principally for social welfare and medical or academic research and for Christian causes to organisations primarily in the Southport area.

Care & maintenance of the hall, and letting the hall for use.

We are a small amateur dramatic society. We put on about 4 one act plays in our own premises for members and guests.

The objects of the charity are ; To advance the education of the public in general and in particular the education of children and young people utilising the range of expertise and resources available at the Albert Dock;

Apart from providing the headquarters for 7th Sefton East (Melling) Scout Group, Caunce Hall is there to provide a community hall for the people of Melling thereby facillitating community sporting and leisure activities.

A community facility including building and land for use by (but not limited to) the residents of scarisbrick and surrounding areas, uses of the hall include the holding of meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life. Use of the hall is offered without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

Our group promotes and preserves the tradition of brass band music combined with encouraging the development of youngsters both as musicians and good citizens. The band caters for children between the ages of 8-20, and currently has approx 85 members.

The Charity manages the Community Centre on behalf of its member organizations such as the Bridge Club, the Self Help group, the St John ambulance etc., leasing it from the Sefton leisure department and managing the programme of activities.

Grants to support Ministers and students in recognised ministerial training. Grants for projects which enable outreach and mission, especially to children and young people.Grants to enable individuals, particularly young adults, to access practical training and discipleship which equips them for Christian service.Purchases Bibles for children and young people.

Provision of music education by concerts, contests and rehearsal.
