The objective of the trust as set out in its governing document is to advance the religion of Islam andIslamic Culture.The charity's main objective is to provide a place of worship, and to promote Islamic education andtraining. The charity has continued successfully in achieving its objectives by improving the facilities fordaily prayers and other religious ceremonies.

To promote and maintain for the benefit of the area a facility where community activities can be held. These include culture and sport activities such as various forms of dancing, drama and pantomime society, keep fit, snooker, pre school toddlers football, Brownies and Rainbows, mother and toddler groups, board games group, parenting sessions etc.

The Trustees apply the income of the charity to organisations involved with persons who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm. This is achieved by providing grants to purchase items, services or facilities calculated to alleviate the suffering or assist in the recovery of such persons.Preference is given to applications for persons in need of convalescence.

Westwood is a small local charity helping people in and around High Green, Sheffield feel more connected.We offer companionship to people facing loneliness or isolation, whatever the reason. Our funds support volunteers and run regular activities, bringing people together in welcoming spaces, building friendship, belonging and a say in decisions that affect their lives.

Stocksbridge Community Care Group (SCCG) is an older people's charity working in Stocksbridge, Deepcar, Wharncliffe Side, Oughtibridge and Worrall. The aim of the organisation is to reduce social isolation and loneliness for older people in the area.

We are a women and girls basketball club dedicated to achieving equality for females in sport and to provide opportunities for women and girls of all ages and abilities to play basketball and develop a healthy lifestyle. Our programme is designed to help all achieve their full potential, raise standards of health and well being and help them become responsible members of society.

OUR AIM IS TO FURTHER THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AT HOME AND ABROAD. WE HOLD WEEKLY FAMILY, GOSPEL, AND PRAYER MEETINGS TO THIS END. MEETINGS WERE ALSO HELD WEEKLY FOR THE SENIOR MEMBERS FOLLOWING A LIGHT MEAL.

We aim to give ongoing support and care. They gain self esteem, confidence, mutual peer support, giving the women a chance of moving on from what may have been a very dislocated life. Behind the fun of Scouting, there is an educational programme that was completely redesigned in 2001 following years of work with educationalists and youth workers. While each Group will undertake different activities, the main programme areas are: outdoor and adventure; global; community; fit for life; creative; and beliefs and attitudes. Group Leaders are trained to deliver this programme.

KINCA is a project-based city centre community organisation that runs a wide variety of projects to encourage social inclusion - from farmers markets to river clean-ups, from community bee-keeping to public art, from clean air monitoring to pedestrianisation and cycle route development. It is entirely resourced by volunteers and actively develops partnerships and networks with other groups.

To meet the needs of men and women who are homeless, root-less, isolated or lonely over the Christmas and New Year period by providing meals, clothes, companionship, access to services such as hairdressing - support for organisations who offer similar schemes through the year.

The charity runs a village hall centre. The centre provides a building all residents of the village have the opportunity to use. Most activities related to village life will be possible. For example: Space for meetings, a main hall for short mat bowls, line dancing, musical events, scouts, wedding receptions, education classes, plus two Meeting Rooms. We also have a Kitchen and an office.

Mindful Movers are a peer led group, supporting with mental health and wellbeing. We have a Basecamp with Thornes Park nursery, Thornes Park, Wakefield. We offer a range of activities including walk & talk sessions, open volunteering days, creative health sessions, TRIBE personal development programmes and accredited qualification courses.
