We provide a sustainable library service and community hub for the people of Stannington and its surrounding area, encouraging innovative use of the building and promoting lifelong learning, social and digital inclusion, and the celebration of reading.The library is staffed by volunteers. We host community groups, events and activities, and expand the book stock through grants and donations.

Provides information and support for people diagnosed with Osteoporosis. The charity also works to increase awareness and understanding about Osteoporosis in the community.

Open to all applicants our Association provides opportunities for all members of the public to be involved in life long learning, animal husbandry and conservation.

Sheffield Community Bike Project helps people learn how to fix their cycles and refurbishes used cycles for sale.

Reaching the homeless, substance misusers and the less privelaged members of the society with food and drinks with the care and love of our Lord Jesus Christ to the society. General outreach to reach our community with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Provision of mathematics tutorial classes. liaising with other charity organisations for community projects.

Brass Band

To provide leisure and learning facilities to all people within the surrounding area. With particular consideration to children and the elderly. To produce amatuer stage production and provide Community services to all volunteer groups and organisations.

Projects with young people aged 11-19 underway in Oxford since January 2015. These included regular sessions staffed by volunteers every Saturday evening at local ecological centre, Barrack Lane Gardens, in East Oxford. Grant received from OCYVS and additional funds raised by donations and open days. Since February 2024 the project began to run similar programmes in Sheffield on a Sunday.

We are running a temporary Buddhist Monastery located in Sheffield.Monastery is open to general public for meditation practice. People from any religion who are interested in Theravada Buddhism are welcome to attend.

We raise funds and donate to selected cancer projects in South Yorkshire, 8 societies, organisations and hospitals were beneficiaries of the fund. We raise money through the resale of second hand goods. All monies taken(except running costs) in the shop are donated. All staff are unpaid volunteers. Year ending 31 September 2013, ?66500 was shared between the 8 beneficiaries.

The principal activities of the charity are in the field of promotion and furtherance of the religion of Islam in accordance with the Quran, the Sunna and the teaching of the Sunni Muslims.

The Group runs in the village of Askern catering for children between the ages of 8 to 14 We run under the rules of Scouting. With a view to maximising a Young persons values and self worth.

Educating people about climate change, pulling together to eradicate deforestation and pollution all over the world.2.Immigrants are unable to obtain the resources they require to ensure their own safety. Stand As One provides assistance to immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees, as well as their dependents, who are experiencing difficulty in Sheffield City and the surrounding areas.

Provision of 10 Homes with garden area for people of reduced means who have links with Sheffield and the United Reformed Church or Continuing Congregational Churches in Sheffield.

We support children from humble backgrounds to remain in education also equipping the institutions.We finance feeding programs to minimise malnutrition amongst disabled children and encourage better inclusion of disabled children into education and their local community. We respond to initiatives within the community to develop income generating projects.

The promotion of community capacity building, through supporting & mentoring leaders of community & voluntary sector organisations in South Yorkshire. Providing the support and eduction to acquire and develop the strategic skills, competencies & self confidence to improve the effectiveness & sustainability of their groups for the delivery of charitable work for the benefit of the community.

We perform up to four major choral concerts a year, in Sheffield Cathedral and other venues. Member of Making Music. Currently around 85 singing members. We hold voice training workshops to improve the quality of our singing, and are exploring new ways to extend the range of our membership and reach new audiences.

The charity activities are there to benefit all people. Re: The advancement of religion (Christian) through charitable work through Christian based meetings. For example weekly family meetings (adult and children), youth club, childrens club. Parent and toddler group and support for disadvantaged and the elderly.
