The Battalion supports the work of Boys Brigade companies around the Sheffield and District (North Derbyshire and North Notts) area provide activities which cover Spiritual, Sport, Craft, Outdoor activities and a structured award scheme

Providing relief of financial hardship in Pakistan to poor and helpless people including orphans. This relief of financial hardship will be met by making grants of money for providing or paying for items, services or facilities. This will also include providing financial support to gain medical services and/or attention, so that suitable living conditions can be met.

The Society studies and reports on the archaeology, history and architecture of South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire. A series of lectures is held. Visits are made to sites of interest. Members give lectures to other groups and attend at open days and similar events. Transactions are published usually every two years and contain articles or local and wider interest.

Provide additional resources i.e Extended School Services and specific resources for pupil enrichment (School & Hospital)

To advance the education of the pupils by raising funds which this year will include a christmas fayre, summer fayre, school discos and charity christmas cards.

Grants are made to support the stipends of some Anglican clergy in Shefffield.

Gives grants to girls, from investments for furthering their education .

Support socially and economically disadvantaged young people aged up to 30 in the; a) providing mentoring support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities,build confidence, encourage them to fulfil their potential and enable them to participatein society as mature and responsible individuals.b) advancing education;c) relieving unemployment

Work has continued to manage the trees, woodland and open habitats on the site with an ongoing programme of selected thinning and management of the Ancient Scheduled Monument. The security of the site has been enhanced by installing further fencing, gates and vehicle barriers.

We provide self help groups for people with anxiety related disorders. The meetings take place in Sheffield city centre on Wednesday evenings 6.30 - 8.30pm fortnightly. We also have on-line groups. The meetings are open to anyone over 18y with anxiety, and are led by a trained volunteer facilitator. At the meeting the group explore positive ways of managing anxiety .

Provide grants to organisations within the boundary detailed in the Trust Document in the Darnall Ward in the City of Sheffield.

THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN PAKISTAN BY PROVIDING GRANTS, SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND OTHER CHARITIES, ORPHANAGES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and internal communities.

We work to improve the health and wellbeing of disadvantaged refugees in the UK, helping them participate in activities, engage with services, overcome social barriers and become less isolated.We also provide support and relief for people living in under-developed areas of Somalia, Tanzania and other East African countries, through the provision of education, training and other services.

YSES gives grants to young people mainly from Yorkshire to enable them to experience expeditions. Where expeditions have an adventure, education and community focus.
