The Gleadless Valley Wildlife Trust is a local voluntary group working to care for and improve the green spaces of Gleadless Valley in Sheffield for the benefit of wildlife and people. We particularly concentrate our efforts towards the woodlands and larger green spaces in the valley.

This was another quiet operating year. Some income was generated for the core purpose of providing access to high quality outdoor education. The main income was a transfer of funds from a pre-existing similar body.

Woodseats Community Garden CIO has leased an undeveloped piece of land and is in the process of making into an area for community use. The garden provides an area of calm and relaxation, promoting wellness. It also hosts community events and educational classes in art, movement and horticulture, and can also be used as a venue for events such as weddings and children's parties.

The charity provides recreational football for girls in Doncaster and the surrounding areas.We aim to provide this service in a safe and unthreatening environment, by ensuring that all coaches are fully trained in the area they work in.The girls compete in the Sheffield and Hallamshire county girls league.

To provide an informal meeting place for service leavers and families to access help available. We offer visits to clients at home, or our own Mess room, carried out by the charity's staff, for all ex-servicemen or women. We will also mentor clients to find solutions to problems that may arise. We also run a free gardening service for aged or disabled Veterans who can't look after their own.
