We raise money for this special school to spend on equipment, activities and services beyond those provided by the Education Authority.In this way the staff can offer broader, richer experiences to communication-disordered children, and the local community can make use of the facilities when appropriate.

We promote the conservation, protection, preservation and appreciation of heritage within Sheffield and the surrounding areas for the benefit of the public. We also act as an umbrella organisation offering support to the various heritage groups within Sheffield and the surrounding areas.

We supply users, specifically members confined to a wheelchair, or those who need to compete from a wheelchair, with the facilities and equipment to participate in a large number of sports. eg. Basketball, Archery, Bowls, Wheelchair Rugby, Table Tennis, Snooker, Pool, Sailing, Weight training and fitness, Air Rifle and Pistol etc.

Daily,Mon and Tues- 9.30am-11.30am- drop-in play and craft sessions for babies to pre-school age children accompanied by their parents/carers.Held in Meersbrook Park Pavilion, Meersbrook Park Road, S8. Indoor and outdoor areas. Snacks & drinks served for children, hot drinks available for adults.

We bring a range of poetry, spoken word and associated events to Sheffield and South Yorkshire, and to online audiences. We promote integration and cooperation within the local community by working with partner organisations, and aim to make our events as accessible as possible. We encourage creative participation in literature for artists, volunteers, participants and audience members.

FOSC cares for and promotes the site of Sheffield Castle and its immediate environment by acquiring and disseminating information about the castle at local and national levels. The L.I.A.M. Charity raise funds through a variety of enterprises and give grants to young people studying at a higher level. i.e. University or specialist college within the county of Yorkshire.Certain criteria need to be fulfilled to access the grants of up to £1,000.
