The Edward Cadbury Charitable Trust is a grant giving charity principally supporting the voluntary sector in the Midlands region. The main areas of grant giving focus on education and training, the oppressed and disadvantaged, interfaith and multifaith relations, the arts, conservation and the environment.

The promotion of football in the community.

Education of girls up to age 11 and boys of up to the age of 7.

The Circuit exists to encourage and support the ministry/mission of all the churches in its care. The Circuit will seek to provide resources to enable the identification, training and support of leaders and preachers, while encouraging every member to be engaged in the mission priorities of the local congregation.

1.The administration of almshouses in Greenwich, London and Shotesham, Norfolk.2 Welfare grants to support individuals and charities

We raise funds for the relief of cancer patients in Shropshire Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales. Donations are made to assist with the purchase of equipment and to ensure that cancer facilities are of a very high standard. Current fundraising to achieve this is through the Ruby Appeal. We are also looking at projects to encourage public engagement with screening programmes and awareness of symptoms

The provision of community activities include swimming, football, climbing, squash, fitness classes, gym, softplay area, community events including bingo, table top sales, community cafe, private hire for school referrals, GP referral scheme, cardiac rehab, pre op cancer exercise group, meeting rooms for training courses or community meetings.

EHSU exists to represent Edge Hill University students effectively as well as provide cultural, social and sporting opportunities to help our students develop personal and life skills.

Provision of education and nursery care for children between the ages of 2 an 11 years. Means tested bursaries are available for school age children whose families may otherwise not be able to benefit from the education offered by the school. Provision of Holiday Care Scheme for children aged 2 to 11 years, open to the school's own pupils and those from outside the school.

We develop and deliver practical solutions to rural problems that maintain the well-being of individuals and communities in Shropshire. We help prevent rural isolation and loneliness and enable access to economic and community activity. We support community and voluntary organisations to enable them to improve the quality of life for people in Shropshire and influence policy makers on rural issues

Providing opportunities for Methodist Circuits to work together and support each other, offering resources, finance, personnel and expertise, and enabling them to engage with the wider society and address its concerns. The District also serves the local Churches and Circuits in the support, deployment and oversight of the various ministries of the Church and in programmes of training.

Owning, repairing and preserving railway heritage, coaching stock and associated artifacts for use and appreciation by the public on the Severn Valley Railway.

To provide day opportunities and home support to people with an acquired brain injury. To offer support, information and advice to people with acquired brain injuries, their families and carers.

Provision of services for older people in the Council areas of Wyre Forest, Bromsgrove and Redditch.Services include Help at Home, Befriending, Social Activities, Information and Advice.

Citizens Advice Shropshire offers free, confidential, independent, and impartial information, advice and casework services for residents of Shropshire and environs.

The provision of public acts of worship and sacred space for prayer. The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses, special events and small groups. The resourcing, encouragement and disciplining of Methodist work in the District. Promoting an interest in the work and influence of Primitive Methodism. Providing public access to Christian books and worship materials.

Raising money for the Royal Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital in order to purchase much needed equipment not provided by the NHS Trust.

To provide community based support services for children, young people, adults and families who are vulnerable, have complex needs and who face difficult life challenges.

To relieve the suffering of sick wild animals by: a) Rescuing, caring for and rehabilitating injured, orphaned or distressed wild animals. b) Education of the public in the care and rehabilitation of British wildlife. c) Assisting others with research in wildlife rehabilitation.

Liberty Jamboree support young people and young adults with special educational needs to engage in positive activities and engage in fulfilling experience within their community. Liberty Jamboree offer social and educational opportunities which supports the emotional and social development of the people involved

The Trust raises funds to support the work of the Chapter of Hereford Cathedral.

Wem Playmates Nursery is located in the middle of Wem and provides a service to pre-school children aged 2-5 years at a reasonable cost so that all the pre-school children of Wem and the surrounding areas can have an opportunity to have a good educational start to life.
