RAISE FUNDS FOR THE SCHOOL AND TO HELP ENRICH CHILDRENS SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

Manage the windmill hill site to preserve the rich flora and fauna and protect the bird life.Maintain the hedgerows and grassland with accompanying footpaths and styles.Undertake authentic preservation of the Grade II listed stone tower windmill to the standards set by the Bridgnorth District Council Conservation Officer.

Keeping members up-to-date on topical issues, particularly those affecting our members.Townwomen's Guilds play a key role in communicating important national issues to government bodies and the media and collectively voice their concerns to change and improve the livelihoods of women.

School Parent Teacher AssociationRaising funds to support Dorrington CofE Aided Primary School and benefit the children who attend there.

We act as Community First Responders and attend patients who have made an emergency call to Welsh Ambulance Service. We provide the necessary immediate care until additional clinical resources arrive.

Nature Conservation - Provision of a natural space for educational and quiet leisure activities e.g. walking, viewing nature and relaxation.

We monitor barn owl and bat nesting sites and where necessary provide nesting boxes or partial renovation of buildings to protect the nest.We also provide illustrated talks and field walks to educate the public.2014-2015 we received a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to enable us to put cameras in all our boxes in order to monitor barn owls with the least disturbance. Provision of transport to largely elderly people for medical appointments. Also delivery of daily lunches, weekly and monthly lunch clubs.

The main objectives of the charity are to encourage recreation and sport for the benefit of the inhabitants of Tenbury District and to relieve hardship in cases of adults, young persons and children residing in the Tenbury District.

Maintaining and promoting the use of the Stiperstones property of Lower Gittensay Cottage for the promotion and development of the Orthodox Church.

Provides talking newspapers to the blind and visually impared

This year we have done 6 rehomings all over shropshire. Rehoming 1592 hens. We have attended 4 events to promote our work.
