Provision of transport to largely elderly people for medical appointments. Also delivery of daily lunches, weekly and monthly lunch clubs.

The main objectives of the charity are to encourage recreation and sport for the benefit of the inhabitants of Tenbury District and to relieve hardship in cases of adults, young persons and children residing in the Tenbury District.

Poor relief

The objective of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school, not normally provided by the Local Authority. Also to foster a greater social fellowship between Parents and the School and act as a channel of communication between Parents and Head.

Maintaining and promoting the use of the Stiperstones property of Lower Gittensay Cottage for the promotion and development of the Orthodox Church.

ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YRS, WHO HAVE RESIDENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS IN BROSELEY, WHO NEED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCEMAKES FINANCIAL DONATIONS TO ORGANISATIONS DEALING WITH THE ELDERLY AND SICKMAKES FINANCIAL DONATIONS TO ORGANISATIONS INVOLVING THE YOUNG AND EDUCATIONAL PROJECTSSUPPORTING LOCAL TOWN PROJECTS

Provides talking newspapers to the blind and visually impared

This year we have done 6 rehomings all over shropshire. Rehoming 1592 hens. We have attended 4 events to promote our work.

Responsible for the House on Crutches and the Old Castle Land.

Provides stimulating talks, in a work type environment, for those in the early stages of dementia(from whatever cause) together with their supporters, including opportunities for questions and discussion; arranges group visits to places of interest; creates opportunities for social interaction with like minded people, from challenging and demanding work backgrounds who just happen to have dementia

Welfare of Shropshire Yeomanry Comrades.

Provide financial grant to Malpas Alport School, also to past pupils for further education.l

The hall is maintained by Trustees to provide a meeting place for all Parishioners.We also hire the hall to clubs, public groups & families for any suitable activity at reasonable cost.Regular fundraising takes place to pay for the upkeep.

Village Hall

charitable donations to worthy and deserving individuals living in the Bishop's Castle County Electoral Division only.

Hold a monthly lecture/talk from October to April, open to both members and public. Summer outings to places of historical interest (on hold from 2025). Run Bridgnorth's museum, which is open from April to October.

The charity is responsible for the Wollerton Village Room which is available to all local residents for cultural, sporting and recreational purposes. Use of the Village Room over recent years has been made by the Parish Council, slimming club, dog training club, gardening club as well as for bridge, bingo and various private social events.

Coffee mornings and other social gatherings of members of the club in private houses.Annual public coffee morning in local Civic Centre in Whitchurch.Occasional social events with friends and families.

Small parish community social centre licenced for 100 people. Activities include, whist drives, quiz evenings, wakes, childrens' parties etc., general hall hire with all facilities included, Church meetings, harvest suppers, Christmas events - bring & buy sales, fund raising events for the village hall.

To provide community facilities for hire including two function rooms with kitchen, toilets and disabled access.
