To preserve and protect the mental health of children and young people, in particular, but not exclusively aged between 4-18 living in the Cheddar Valley, Somerset through:a) The provision of one to one counselling, support, advice and information;b) Recreational and leisure time activities.

We work with a wide range of arts and non-art partners, providing opportunities for artists to extend their professional practice, develop new audiences for the visual arts in Somerset and to engage communities that may have little contact with the arts.Through creative activities the arts can benefit a wide range of community needs, facilitating and promoting the value of creativity for all.

WE EXIST TO IMPROVE THE EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL WELLBEING OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WITH MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS, LEARNING DISABILITY, PHYSICAL DISABILITY, LIFE-THREATENING OR LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES AND LIFE-CHANGING CONDITIONS, THROUGH OUTDOOR AND ADVENTURE-LED ACTIVITIES.OUR ACTIVITIES STRENGTHEN RESILIENCE, IMPROVE VITALITY AND SELF ESTEEM AND PROVIDE A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT.

To promote the charitable work of Wellington School by the raising of funds for new scholarships and bursaries and investing the funds to maximise their value to support Wellington School in its aim of providing an education for children from all walks of life no matter what their financial circumstances.

The charity was established in 2003 to help those people who were struggling to remain local in the West Somerset and Mid-Devon regions. It has grown steadily and now owns 20 properties all tenanted to local people on low incomes in need of accommodation at a reasonable rent.The charity continues to provide financial assistance to local person(s) in extreme financial need.

The objects of the trust are to apply both the capital & income thereof to or for the relief of the poor & needy or to or for other charitable purpose institution society or object as the Club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.Activities of Trust Fund during this period have been receipt of monies & the disbursement thereof as detailed in accounts.

Running an international classical music festival on Exmoor, Dartmoor and surrounding areas. In addition we offer school workshops, a residency programme and have a Young Musicians Platform competition for talented young musicians living in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

Home-Start Blackmore Vale helps build better lives for children. It supports isolated, struggling and vulnerable families either in their own homes, or through group work. The family must have a least one child under 5 years. The support enables them to cope with difficulties through a network of trained volunteers who work with the family according to their individual needs.

Welfare for the aged, infirm or poor in Yeovil , Somerset and the surrounding area by the provision of hot meals for those, who either through age or infirmity, are unable to prepare meals for themselves and have no other person available to prepare one for them.

Promotion of the education, including social and physical training, of young people aged 11 - 25 years, in the form of financial assistance.

Move the Mind CIO (MtM) is a charity that supports children, young people and some young adults with learning difficulties using animals and horses in a therapeutic way. Move the mind have outstanding horses and other animals and are set in approximately 14 acres of beautiful Somerset farmland.

Transport of urgently needed blood, drugs, breast milk, human tissues and other medical requirements originating from hospitals, other health care facilities and patients' homes throughout the Southwest of Engand

Family support by the use of home visiting volunteers

To provide accessible and affordable community transport to a rural area of South Somerst. The transport is for eligble groups and individuals who are socially, economically or physically disadvantaged and to encorage greater community participation of these people and those who are geographically isolated.

Banwell FC offers healthy recreation at Banwell in North Somerset by providing facilities for the playing of amateur football and other such sports or physical activities for ages ranging from juniors to veterans and for girls and boys that will improve their fitness, health and mental wellbeing so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

Vocal offers a free and independent issue based Advocacy services for adults with learning disabilities or communication difficulties.Vocal is also able to take on specialist contract work and can provide training for small groups of clients and the people who support them.
