Grace Advocacy is a UK charity that offers a free advocacy service for people who are struggling with multiple complex problems. We work with our clients to stabilise their affairs and can help in the areas of:benefits;disability;housing;NHS;adult social care; anddebt.

To prevent and relieve financial, educational, social and health poverty for people living in Frome and the surrounding areas. This will be achieved through the provision of direct services and through the support and development of other organisations in such a way that they are able to identify and meet these needs including a Food bank, Furniture Bank and community meals.

The Charity awards grants to individuals, schools, parishes and corporate bodies to further the following objectives: in the promotion of the education of persons involved with religious education; the provision of instruction and resources to schools and parishes; to assist persons financially so they can attend an establishment of further education to pursue their education.

To preserve and protect the mental health of children and young people, in particular, but not exclusively aged between 4-18 living in the Cheddar Valley, Somerset through:a) The provision of one to one counselling, support, advice and information;b) Recreational and leisure time activities.

We are a group of ordinary people living and working in North Dorset believing and trusting in an extraordinary God, who has changed our lives for the better and continues to be involved with each of us as individuals and as a community. The church is a community of people who relate to one another, through their common love of Jesus. It is not a building or an organisation.

To relieve hardship and distress by providing assistance, advice and services amongst the Chinese communityTo provide or assist in the provision of recreation for people and their families with a view to improving their conditions of lifeThe advancement of education between the Chinese community and the local community through educational, cultural and social activities

As well as Sunday services, midweek activities include daily prayers, life groups, Girls' Brigade, youth group, a drop-in cafe, monthly communion and lunch, a monthly men's breakfast and dance in worship. Education/Training for Young People

PROVIDING SESSIONAL PLAY AND LEARNING FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 UP TO SCHOOL AGE.

We work with a wide range of arts and non-art partners, providing opportunities for artists to extend their professional practice, develop new audiences for the visual arts in Somerset and to engage communities that may have little contact with the arts.Through creative activities the arts can benefit a wide range of community needs, facilitating and promoting the value of creativity for all.

WE EXIST TO IMPROVE THE EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL WELLBEING OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WITH MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS, LEARNING DISABILITY, PHYSICAL DISABILITY, LIFE-THREATENING OR LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES AND LIFE-CHANGING CONDITIONS, THROUGH OUTDOOR AND ADVENTURE-LED ACTIVITIES.OUR ACTIVITIES STRENGTHEN RESILIENCE, IMPROVE VITALITY AND SELF ESTEEM AND PROVIDE A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT.

To promote the charitable work of Wellington School by the raising of funds for new scholarships and bursaries and investing the funds to maximise their value to support Wellington School in its aim of providing an education for children from all walks of life no matter what their financial circumstances.

The charity was established in 2003 to help those people who were struggling to remain local in the West Somerset and Mid-Devon regions. It has grown steadily and now owns 20 properties all tenanted to local people on low incomes in need of accommodation at a reasonable rent.The charity continues to provide financial assistance to local person(s) in extreme financial need.

We curently provide self contained housing for the elderly within the Blue House, we raise funds for the upkeep of the listed building, to ensure the best environment for our residents.

Running an international classical music festival on Exmoor, Dartmoor and surrounding areas. In addition we offer school workshops, a residency programme and have a Young Musicians Platform competition for talented young musicians living in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

The Crispin Hall Trust has 19 rooms and a main hall, which are let out for a variety of community, retail and commercial purposes.

Promotion of the education, including social and physical training, of young people aged 11 - 25 years, in the form of financial assistance.

Move the Mind CIO (MtM) is a charity that supports children, young people and some young adults with learning difficulties using animals and horses in a therapeutic way. Move the mind have outstanding horses and other animals and are set in approximately 14 acres of beautiful Somerset farmland.

The charity considers grants to individuals living in the Southwest of England and organisations with projects in the Southwest of England for general charitable purposes but in particular the encouragement of local life through education, the arts and social sciences.
